On Labor Day we took the boys on an impromptu overnight getaway to a tiny cabin a short drive away. It was a blast! And no, my hubby isn't lost in thought here; he was fishing from shore and realized my Grandpa was out on the lake fishing too😀🐟
There’s an intensity that exists when the dense fog circulates, when the wind wisps in flurries, slow and steady against a golden beamed backdrop. Mornings are magic 〰️ reflections sharp, clear and bold, loon calls bright, water inviting. I rise before the sun, dried and dusted to renew, wet in spirit, cold and jolted into day. Yesterday’s song is no longer, yesterday’s me sinks under. It is only now and only here that we must wake. Dive, twirl, rise. renew again.
