Check out this beasty blade from @Blade
An interesting twist on a traditional tracker, this @bucknbear
knife features a tanto point that differs from the traditional curved edge that most trackers possess. Tracker knives are built to serve several purposes out in the field; they are meant to chop, pound, slice, and even saw. This tracker has a tanto point which decreases the slicing potential but also increases the durability of the blade. Since the Tanto point is angular in shape it can handle a lot more abuse than a standard curved edge (triangular shapes are very strong). The geometrical shape makes it easy to sharpen out in the field and gives it more of a chisel like appeal which is great if you are going to be doing a lot of wood splitting. This also means a thicker concentration of metal towards the end of the blade which makes it suitable for things that many knives may not be able to handle such as prying. .
-As with all @bucknbear
knives, this knife has a lifetime warranty, and for the retail price of $89.99, that is extremely reasonable. .
-The quality of the blade is great, the construction is clean.
-It feels well balanced in the hands
-The holes within the guard are a great touch need you fasten it into a spear
-The handle looks damn purdy .
-This knife has multiple uses, and the Tanto point is an interesting touch to the standard tracker shape
. -easy to sharpen in the field
-I wish the sheath had a more practical carry, it is worn out horizontally on the belt and I prefer a vertical sheath .
-Though the Tanto shape gives it more durability and toughness, the straight edge also makes slicing a bit tougher
