Finally someone to draft off of! Awesome riding #KitchenCreek
super early to beat the heat! Thanks for the invite! That was awesome! #fromwhereiride
Spent the afternoon taking turns on a short rappel with a new rope and new rappelling devices: walking backward down the granite face, then climbing back up again. Somewhere in the middle of all that, I climbed up to see Nathan backlit in light grown hazy and unbearably beautiful, and I knew that no matter how good the photo was it would never match what I was seeing.
Last light shining on the pool above Kitchen Creek Falls. The falls are down to a trickle, the pools are almost still and the breeze smells like sun-baked sage. Laid back, selfish long weekend spent hiding in the out of doors and dreaming up new adventures.
Rappelling review in some stellar afternoon light at Kitchen Creek Falls - we’ve got some new gear to get right before a week-long canyoning adventure in Utah.
EASTer Sunday mountain climbing. Longest bike ride I've ever done by 20 miles. .
Rode up Mount Laguna for the first time by way of Kitchen Creek Rd. Totalled 65 miles and 6000 ft of climbing with some altitude thrown in there. With it for the epic view at the summit overlooking El Centro and the Salton Sea. Thanks for letting me catch up after you drop me @zackletic

Half way up Kitchen Creek - yeah, that's all the road there is.
First mile up Kitchen Creek
Heading down Old Hwy 80 to Kitchen Creek
Down this lonely stretch along #kitchencreek
on Dark Hollow Rd lies this #wpa
wall. It's long and failing in places but not here where they inscribed it many years ago.
