What is love to you?
Brandon and I run a business together. We have hard conversations weekly. Our pillow talk is often business, kids, finances. Once in while a good laugh about all of the above.
We came into our marriage later in life with a child already in the mix. We have never really had “just us” time. That makes for a pretty steep learning curve. We try really hard to have dates and vacays alone, but, well, life fills up.
Fortunately we work well together, sometimes I attribute that to me being and oldest child and him a youngest. Or his calm personality to my...welllll not as calm! I tend to be the gas and him the brakes. Maybe we got lucky and found the person that wants mostly the same things: kids, country life, front porch in the evenings, a healthy retirement fund, and a nice boat with some fishing poles!
But if asked, what is love, my answer, “love is a man that cleans the chicken coop, when he is allergic to eggs!” #familylife #chickensbecrazy #kidsloveanimals #cleancooppoop
