2nd weigh in tonight and I can’t hide the fact that I’m really disappointed with a maintain 😞 when I look back at my food through the week I have stuck to plan but there’s been a lot of carby foods and maybe not as much speed food as there should be, plus it’s been my ⭐️ week so I’m thinking all of the above could’ve come into play. . . . At this point I’m normally so deflated that I throw the towel in and think sack it and call at the KFC drive thru on the way home, but not tonight! Progress pics after 15 days of counting macros & working out consistently 6 days a week. Pictures & measurements are the biggest motivator for me. Yes, I have been weighing myself throughout this journey, but honestly, the scales only frustrate me. I become obsessed with weighing daily & irritated when the number doesn’t budge.
The most important thing to me is how I feel & the way my clothes fit. I can say that I feel less bloated & I have a lot more energy now! I’m motivated to continue this journey. I know there will be days where I don’t feel like working out, or sticking to the meal plan. That’s okay! I will not beat myself up for not being perfect. I will not feel guilty! I will pick back up right where I left off! I am a work in progress! If you’re struggling & feeling unmotivated, I suggest taking progress pics and/or measurements! You may be surprised at just how motivating they can be! .

Ohhh the power of angles.
First picture: I’m completely relaxed. My shoulders are slumped, my rolls are in full effect, my stomach is bloated. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Second picture: I’m sucking in, my hand on my hip makes my rolls go away, and I feel a hell of a lot more confident posting the second picture.
Here’s the deal. We are all more comfortable posting that second picture to show the Instagram world that our bodies look awesome. It’s easy to scroll through your feed and think, “This girl looks so good!” “I wish I had her body” or “I’ll never look like that.” Trust me, I’m with you.
Every person has flaws. Cellulite. Rolls. Flab. Some more than others. At the end of the day, the only person who truly knows what you look like, is you. Remember that no one is perfect. Keep working on yourself and stop letting silly things hold you back. It’s easy to feel like you have to look a certain way to go to the gym, or when you post on Instagram, ESPECIALLY with the social media fitness models who look amazing. I mean, they’re some damn good motivation, but most people have to work hard to get there.
Love your body. Feed it good foods. Stop stressing over the flaws of your body and start focusing on what makes it beautiful. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
