On this Martin Luther King Day, we share this story: A civilian asked his Veteran friend, "Why do you call that stranger a Brother, when you don't even know who he is? Fair question, his reply: "See that uniform he is wearing? He serves in the United States military. That, in itself, makes us Brothers. Don't care where he is from, what color he is, who he voted for, or even who he prays to. He is still my Brother, because he chose to put himself second and his Country first. For all I know he has walked where I have walked, left sweat where I left sweat, and left drops of blood where I did too. And that makes us Brothers. Same with the women who have served. They will forever be my Sisters. They have my back, I have theirs." When we work to match a post 9/11 Veteran with a quality service dog it's about coming together to help us rise. Help one another rise in 2019.
“We are excited to announce that our first flyball class is full, HOWEVER, our amazing instructor has said that if we are able to sign up a couple more people, we can split the group into two classes to offer enough space to everyone! If you are interested in this class, please let your trainer know ASAP so we can get you signed up and the class organized! We can’t wait for the first session on February 4!”
