'I have never seen a house fly, but most certainly seen a dragon fly' - the clown in me
It's usually quite difficult to photograph an insect, cause you never know when they'll fly away or even worse, fly towards you.
Here's your regular dragon-fly posing for me.
Sometimes when you see things up close you notice beauty while being intimidated at the same time.
If you ever head to Chiang Mai I highly recommend going on the Jungle Trek with @strayawaytravel
The day included walking through the jungle with a local, climbing over wooded mountains, across the stunning green rice terraces, swimming under tropical waterfalls, eating delicious Thai food cooked by the locals served in a banana leaf, drinking coffee from bamboo cups and much more.
In my group there was only 4 of us which made it more personal. Any questions about the trek, locals or Thailand in general was answered by our guides Alex and Niki.
Stray Away Travel has made the effort to get to know the locals here which meant we were the only tourists in the village - an amazing experience to say the least.
More pictures of the jungle trek to follow in the next few days 🌱
Riding in the sunshine on these beautiful Arabian thoroughbreds was truly memorable, sorry if you're bored of the honeymoon spam! But was it too incredible and I don't care 😜
Can’t get enough of these jungle photos!
This is a Pig tail Makak. Don’t want to mess with them.. Those teeth look ferocious. He was just sleepy though, not aggressive.
It's always a good day to explore the sights and sounds of Cheow Lan Lake. A must-visit on any nature lover's list while in Khao Sok National Park.
Bukit Lawang is on the tourist radar for its access to Gunung Leuser National Park; home to wild and semi wild orangatuns. Some would arrive here and feel displaced, perhaps even longing for bright lights and bigger things, to us though this remote setting nestled in the valley of a jungle is absolute paradise.
In the heart of the northern Laos NPA, we stayed in a Namtha village, played with the children, had dinner and then relaxed, just like these two piglets.
A Purple Heron wearing a disappointed look, having missed the worm, not so early in the morning. At least I think so :-) If you happen to pass by a park or lake do take a moment and enjoy your surroundings because just like how beauty is fleeting, beautiful things are too.
One of the most ammmazing treks I've ever done!!! ❤
Sooooo beautiful, even a billion words are less to express! Feel like living there on the top for the rest of my life. 😍 Wish we could've spent some more time there, but it's okay, not the last time I'm going. Will be back soon. 😁 Just can't get over its beauty and closeness to God. ❤❤❤
Everyone must visit the place atleast once if they love nature.
for this wonderful experience!
