Um ano de dieta. 62,1kg eliminados. Demorei muito pra perceber o quanto emagreci. Demorei pra perceber o quanto estava gordo. Sequer comecei a dieta por estar gordo. Me sentia mais hábil e mais capaz do que alguns amigos em melhor forma. Não e sentia infeliz ou insatisfeito. Pensar em fazer exercícios já era sofrimento, especialmente se estivesse fazendo calor. Demorei pra aceitar que os exercícios já faziam parte de quem eu era. Demorei pra reconhecer o prazer que eles me davam. Mas já falo disso. Continuava chamando de dieta, o que na verdade havia se tornado meu estilo de vida. Não que isso tivesse acabado no primeiro ano de dieta. Talvez exista um pouco até hoje. Primeiro percebi o quanto eu estava acima do peso, e quanto mais me distanciava daquela realidade, mais eu percebia o quanto estive gordo. Depois comecei a perceber o quanto havia emagrecido. E claro, não podia deixar de pensar no que faltava. Mas pensava mais ainda no que eu gostaria de me tornar. Eu mudei. Estava mudando. Estou mudando… Sobre os exercícios, fica pra outro dia!

NSV!! = "Non-Scale Victory".. Today was a pleasant surprise! One of the best things I now have the luxury of experiencing is being able to walk into a store & find clothing I like in a size they actually offer!
*Disclaimer: No, I'm not an asshole.. all those clothes on the floor aren't mine 😂 I walked in with only one piece of clothing.*
At my biggest weight last year, my 3XLs were getting pretty snug & I was dipping into the 4XL territory, actually having to own a couple. Now, I walk into stores and am able to pick up a size (L)arge & be comfortable in knowing it will fit when I get home. This first black hoodie is a Large.
But TODAY as I was trying on the first hoodie, I saw the red one on the floor & kinda liked it, so I tried it on. I'm not really a fashion guy, as I blow all my money on electronics instead, so it's been a while since I really tried on new clothing. IT WAS A MEDIUM AND IT FIT. I was super surprised to see that it fit well and if I wanted to, I could walk out of the store and purchase it in that size. Never in my life did I think I would fit into a medium of anything, so this was a great moment.
Losing weight grants us a lot more than we realize & I'm glad I'm able to fully experience life the way it should be!
