This picture was taken in California, where I was strongly considering moving before I met Luke. I remember on our second date he told me “don’t move to Cali” and I thought “ok boy, I don’t even know you, we’ll see about that😏”

But today I woke up in Michigan and spent the day at Lowes working on our home renovation project 😉 My plans changed, big time. Not because I gave up my dreams for a man, but because LOVE was a big core value for ME, and I followed that
.
Here’s the thing, any goal we have - to get that job, relationship, salary, house, car, toned body, to move to Cali - we want because we believe we will FEEL something good when we get it. We’re actually chasing a feeling
.
I realized what I was feeling in this relationship was more important to me than what I thought I might feel by moving to Santa Monica. I was able to make this decision because I was clear on my highest VALUES and priority FEELINGS .
