This is gonna sound like crazy nonsense, but Jenna Marbles recently started putting out videos of her and often times her boy trying out popular art trends. The first one was her following a Bob Ross video, the second one was an acrylic pour video, and the most recent one was abstract palette knife paintings. And honestly as someone who both loves Jenna Marbles, has some art Ed background, and obviously does art like, almost every day, it has been fucking fascinating to watch a grown ass adult with no real experience with art attempting these things. She says things that first of all, even professional artists think/feel about their art, all while experiencing what we *should be* doing in our public k-12 education. We should be teaching kids how to play, how to explore mark making, to just experience the process without necessarily being concerned about the end product. You don’t become good at anything without trying something new or taking risks. Without letting yourself be vulnerable in the most basic of ways. Idk, it’s just been neat to watch her explore art and to have it be seen on such a wide platform. .
