This week Chuseok was celebrated here in Korea. Sunday we had friends over and to my surprise they very generously brought several (DELICIOUS) traditional Korean foods to share with us. In massive quantities. I am not even remotely exaggerating when I tell you I tried to hide the leftover japchae so I could make sure I got more before the kids inhaled all of it. #noshame Adrienne found it first but I still managed to get some for breakfast and lunch before they polished it off. Charlotte even asked me "is it ok if I eat the last of this or do you want it?" when we were warming up leftovers for dinner. She knew I was obsessed. I reluctantly let her have it. Japchae is being added to the list of Korean foods I will learn how to make so I can continue eating it for the rest of my life. #japchae#koreanfood#happychuseok#icouldhaveeatenallofit#gluttonyisbad
