“Don’t you go back into that water mum. It’s exhausting having to save you all day long!”
There are no bad SUPdays. They should be a holiday !
and first time paddle boarding #irockersup
loved it and can’t wait to go again OH there is always tomorrow 😀
Sunday funday at another lovely Florida state park. In its former life, Rainbow Springs was a phosphate mine, then an amusement park, and has now been preserved as a state park. It is a beautiful spot, complete with crystal clear water, lush fauna, and waterfalls. These Florida springs are pretty neat; they all have a very old-fashioned, charming atmosphere that makes it feel like you’ve stepped back in time.
It was our first time to paddle as a family with both boards. Downstream was fun, but heading back upstream with some added wind was a bit challenging. Arms are sore, but it was a fun adventure. 🚣🏼♀️
Have you tried paddleboarding yet??
Today Meeko let her ears fly free and I learnt how to make GIFs 🤫
(P.S. if anyone knows how to make them at a higher quality I’d love some tips!)
“Take me out of the water mum… YAY! Now I can dry off!”
“Mum… what is that weird, flat water fish?” (Meeko spotted the stingray long before I did, though I admit she was rather perplexed)
“Mum, you are going very slow. I hope you don’t expect me to put up with this.”
Because why hold your head up on your own if you don’t have to?
Happy New Year everyone!
I think my best nine this year have some strong themes. I have loved being able to spend so much time down in Cornwall. Polzeath and the Camel Estuary feature heavily here because they are so beautiful. My new hobby paddleboarding has definitely been so good for me and I just love it.
These are all things that I plan to feature heavily in 2019. Along with maintaining and redecorating holiday homes. I'm particularly excited to get started on @insideroselodge
Someone’s getting pretty cocky and now likes to jump off and paddle out to any of us swimming close by before zooming back for a leg up onto the board.
Does anyone know good, dog friendly spots around South East Queensland (ideally Brisbane!) to go for a paddle board?
