So these three books have been my holiday reads of 2018 ⛱🇮🇹 I say that as if my opinions are of any importance, but I do want to share these three titles with you because I loved them all ✨✨✨ 1: The Cows by @hotpatooties
- holy Christ. I wolfed this book. The characters were eminently believable, the plot line was captivating and I was frustrated that I couldn’t read it any bloody faster! A must read.
2. Ask Me His Name by @feathering_the_empty_nest
✨ I follow Elle on my personal account, and although I’ve never experienced baby loss personally or within my family, I am all for breaking societally imposed barriers when it comes to this topic, and feel we all have a part to play in facilitating that conversation. This book was heartbreaking, uplifting and searingly real. It’s a story of hope more than anything, and this year, I have already earmarked a few gifts for Christmas presents that will contribute to #teddyslegacy
. I’ll also wear my #irefusetosink
necklace with that little bit more pride.
3. One in a Million by @lindseykelk
- I’m still in the middle of this one but it’s another cracker from the Queen of the Holiday Read!
