I was able to finally get out late last night/early this morning to photograph the Geminid meteor shower, and I wanted to catch Comet Wirtanen. Due to work, winter weather, and such, I haven’t been able to get out as much as I would like to, so needed to make it happen. I didn’t get where I wanted to, as I was tied up until late and had to get up early for work, so had to stay near Saskatoon I went to a church near the city and managed to capture a meteor streaking through the Hyades constellation, plus the comet in the upper right nearing the Pleiades.
Taken with a Canon 7D MKII, Tokina 11-16mm lens, and Slik Pro 500DX tripod. Processed in Photoshop. Gear purchased at @donsphotoltd
