today, our sisters wear turquoise bands in support of our sister, sophomore Nicole Anand and her fight against POTS!
A founding member of @dreamfurman
and active member of our chapter, we stand with her in her battle against Dysautonomia, an increasingly common but little known category of chronic illness.
The most common form of Dysautonomia is POTS (or Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia) - symptoms which include nausea, headaches, dizziness, and fainting.
People with dysautonomia and other invisible illnesses often experience symptoms everyday even though they look fine, so pay less attention to appearances and think twice before telling someone that they “don’t look sick”.

We are so proud of you, Nicole. 💙
