Growing up, I could never be disrespectful to others, I could never be a failure in all aspects because I am a TEACHER'S KID!
The concept of respect for others was pounded into my head at a very young age, I was always expected to be polite to anyone who I come across with, to pass all the test/exams I take, to behave in a descent manner and not to become an embarrassment. I've done all these because that's what my mum imposed me/us to do until such time I became a rebel and did everything in contrast just to prove her teachers can be wrong sometimes(silly me). Then I figured out quickly the realities of the world and realized, "oh this is what my mum's preparing me for". For that I am forever thankful and I would not trade being a TEACHER'S KID for the world.
I did not imagine myself to be a teacher, I just wanted a job that allowed me to make a difference, do good things and have a big impact on the world(cliché,haha). It was a big toss up between nursing and teaching, but in the end I decided teaching and I've never regretted it. Thanks to my mum for being the BESTest TEACHER in the entire universe! All this, is for you mum.
HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY to all those in the teaching field not only in Thailand but all over the world!
