Desde criança eu sonhava em viajar o mundo. Como não tinha recursos, pegava as revistas e jornais e me imagina naqueles lugares. A primeira vez que saí de Belford Roxo foi com 16 anos, fui em Niterói levar meu pai ao médico e quando cheguei naquela cidade, lembro até hoje de me sentir maravilhada com o painel rotativo de propagandas que estava no ponto de ônibus. Era tudo diferente, as ruas limpas, sem muitas pichações e eu me apaixonei. A primeira vez que fui a zona sul do RJ, tinha 20 anos, foi com minhas amigas da faculdade, fomos à praia de Copacabana, eu reparava cada detalhe, o cheiro de maresia, as ruas limpas, as pessoas andando sempre rápido e muito arrumadas, as estações do metrô e eu me imaginei morando lá. Passou um filme em minha cabeça na hora, ali eu tive certeza que teria um futuro diferente do que era esperado. Aos 25 anos fui morar em Botafogo, aos 27 em Copacabana e hoje viajo o mundo estudando o que amo. Se foi fácil? Claro que não, se estou realizada? Não tenho dúvidas disso, mas sei que ainda farei muitas coisas, isso é só o começo 😍🙏 A chave para produzir os resultados que desejamos é representarmos coisas e nos pôr em tal estado de recursos para que fiquemos fortalecidos para colocar em ação tudo que é necessário para criar o resultado desejado. Eigentlich wollte ich heute morgen zum aufwärmen 15 Minuten Seilspringen und anschließend acht Kilometer laufen. Es wurden insgesamt knapp 60 Minuten Seilspringen, ohne einen anschließenden Lauf. • Aktuell habe ich in der Tat mehr Spaß am Seil. Mit 42 Jahren habe ich vor ca. drei Wochen die Leidenschaft zum Seilspringen entdeckt und seitdem hüpfe ich eigentlich fast täglich. Mal sind es 15 Minuten als WarmUp, mal 40-60 Minuten als stand-alone Training, oder 5-10 als Cooldown nach einem Lauf. • Das Laufen hat mir die notwendige Kondition verschafft, um auch am Seil zu bestehen. Das Seilspringen wiederum erleichtert mir das Lauftraining. Den Unterschied merke ich schon nach wenigen Wochen enorm. • Heute habe ich zum ersten Mal eine Double Under Serie geschafft. Serienrekord Double Under: 2. 🤙😜 • Die Füße werden immer leichter und ich schaffe es leicht zu tänzeln. • Mal sehen, wie sich das bis Ende des Jahres entwickelt. • Ich weiß... Es schwabbelt hier und da noch einiges! Ich arbeite daran... 👋👊 • Was reizt mich am Seilspringen? Mit dem #Seilspringen bekommst du in kürzester Zeit deinen Körper auf Betriebstemperatur. Sometimes you just need to listen to your body and hear what it has to say. Last week my body was shouting at me to give it a break. I was always sore and stiff and I didn’t feel like I was achieving anything in the gym. . Taking some time off for some quality R&R is one of the best things you can do. Having spent a week off any kind of training I couldn’t be feeling any better. My aches have gone away and I even feel a bit more flexible. . @pvellner recently said “you should be training with the goal to progress” and sometimes that means taking a little break
I haven’t been in the gym at all this week, hence the no posts but I did however make it to the gym today. . When you travel you don’t always get time to fit in workouts as you always somehow have something planned. I had a lovely few days away which is exactly what I needed. It gave my body time to rest and recover, and I got to eat some amazing food! Remember BALANCE is key! 💪🏼

⚠️When I first started going to the gym, I thought everybody was just going to laugh at me. I was tall, skinny and looked like I was going to snap in half just by looking at the weights. I struggled at first. My form was off, I didn’t know what exercises to do and I used to come home thinking I’d achieved nothing. . The only reason I stuck with going to the gym was because I enjoyed a little bit of me time. As the months went on and days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months and so on, I finally started to see a change. . I was mad to think that people would laugh at me. Everyone starts somewhere no matter what size you are or what your situation is and everyone has to try. When I see someone new walk into the gym I give them a smile because no matter what, we were all in their shoes once, and a little bit of warmth goes a long way. 🙏🏻
