I can simply snap my fingers and it’ll all cease to exist. I call that mercy. - Thanos, Avengers: Infinity War
I had a different caption to this post ready to go, but... I’m just sick and tired of people NOT being able to take responsibility for their own actions. Always pointing the finger, passing the blame onto someone else. Running, in order to avoid drama but in fact creating it. The old saying “just walk away” doesn’t work when someone is giving you the chance to explain yourself. Are we so self-centered and jaded as a society that talking with one another to work out issues is no longer possible. Even in private over social media? It takes 5 seconds to send a message! That one would rather take the time to unfollow and unlike a number of posts rather than talk says something. And we look down, brush off those with mental health issues? I think that is the greater issue, NOT mental health but the manner in which its treat by society. The way I see it, everyone has a mental health issue and its built around fear. NOT someone dealing with depression, stress, anxiety, panic, OCD, the list goes on. For me these don’t show up on the surface. I’m a calm, quiet person. But rub me the wrong way and you see what I’ve been venting about over the last few days. Which side of me you see, well that’s up to you. I’d rather not show this side.
