Been a while.
Got swamped with a lot of thangs, but I made some time to return to the grind.
I think I'm going to start posting about some of the things I'm reading from time to time here. It will be a nice little way for me to keep a visual log of what I've read from week to week.
So let's begin with a mini-series I picked up at my local comic shop.
'Nenetl' is a short-&-sweet 4 issue mini series written by @vera_greentea
and illustrated by Laura Müller, The story is centered around Mexico's 'Dios de la Muertos' and the philosophy of 'the three deaths'. The story is surprisingly bittersweet, and the art is bright and colorful — just like the holiday itself. The book is a wonderful and whimsical read that can be finished in a sitting, so there's no excuse for not picking it up at your local comic shop or ordering it from its publishers website: https://greenteapublishing.com/products/nenetl-of-the-forgotten-spirits
