It used to be that I couldn’t even think about a workout, because I was already too exhausted.
I would just crash on the couch every night and hit snooze for an hour each morning.
During my 20-minute workout today, the trainer said something that clicked:
Stop thinking of your workout as moving your body.
Start thinking of it as releasing the stress.
It’s a simple mind trick to adjust your mood — but really, that’s true for almost everything in life.
So rather than focus on what I need to put INTO the workout, I thought about all that I get OUT of it after.
I worked out today:
Because it improves your mood.
Because it boosts your energy.
Because it stimulates your brain cells.
Because I proved to myself I could. 👊🏼

42 Pounds gone ⚖️, 38+ inches gone📉, insecurities dwindling by the second....energy restored, happiness on FLEEK (that’s still cool to use right?)!
I didn’t go for the trends for this new lifestyle. No “slimming” coffee, skinny shakes, keto, pills, teas, fat free....been there...done that. ❌
I went all in on myself and will continue to do just that. I eat clean mainly, enjoy my all natural superfood shake daily, use an all natural preworkout and WORKOUT. •
I post about this because I truly love what I do and how SIMPLE and sustainable it is. I’ve mellowed out the chatter and focused on myself for the benefit of all that surround me. 😊
I stand by this lifestyle because who better to prove to you that you can do it than a mom with 2 boys, a full time physically demanding job that I love, and a health and wellness coach to top it off! 🙌🏻
