Fun facts about Brooke: 1) I work part time as a medical SLP and part time as a private paediatric SLP in my private practise. 2) I love coffee and on my private practise days I get to enjoy my morning coffee at home as I prepare for the day of therapy. ☕️ 3) Here in NZ, it’s common to sprinkle cinnamon on top of your coffee (aka cappuccino) 🇳🇿 4) There is no such thing as pumpkin pie spice here in NZ. 😱😮😫 5) I like to travel to America ✈️and when I do I bring back pumpkin pie spice and use it ALL YEAR ROUND on top of my coffee. Yup that’s me, a PPS rebel. None of this waiting until fall (aka autumn) business! 🍁And that tiny little jar lasts me all year! Then I tell my husband it’s time for another trip to America! 😉🙌😂

Homemade Nitro Coffee! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I've been making nitro coffee almost every morning for the past couple weeks and it's honestly the best way to start off a hot summer day. You need four things: a nitro whipped cream dispenser, nitro chargers, iced coffee, and some time to sit and enjoy. My only mistake was to not make enough to fill this glass! Looking forward to making some coffee cocktails using this method ☀️☕😍

Recently went to this coffee shop in Summerlin. Loved the atmosphere inside & the open seating. I had tried Bad Owl’s other location on Eastern and was not impressed. I decided to give this new location a shot too! I ordered an Iced Vanilla Latte & Avocado Toast. They gave my Avocado Toast to someone else & I didn’t receive it until I asked 15 minutes later. The coffee was nothing special & the Avocado Toast had the strongest seasoning on top, overpowering the taste of the toast. A few minutes after leaving I felt sick to my stomach. I am sadden by this experience & was really hoping this new location would’ve “wowed” me.
