Sunrise at Anderson Scenic Overlook just outside Los Alamos, New Mexico.
Always take time to reflect. I'm taking a few moments everyday to think about what went right, what could have been better, what to do next, and as always, think about how appreciative I am.
Caught some of the blue sky peaking through the clouds ☁️🌨
The cloud cover really put a damper on the moon last night so this is the best I could do! 🌝🌖🌗🌘🌚

Following up with several more photos of my short stroll at the mountain. `The mountain,’ as I Iike to refer to South Mountain since I spend a considerable amount of time there. I spend too much of my time indoors during the week so every chance I get I like to drive to the mountain and with views like this everything else seems to fade away.
I should’ve called in sick for Monday...
Swipe Left! Cedar Breaks National Monument in Utah. This is a vast and beautiful eroded landscape that looks like you have cracked open a massive geode. The landscape panorama and sky panorama were taken separately. The landscape images were taken with 12 5 minute long exposures at ISO 1600, and the sky was taken with 12 30 second exposures at ISO 6400 from the same position. The 2 resulting images were merged in PS. The glow on the horizon is the town of Cedar City, Utah. _______________________________________ Continuing my panorama binge. 😀 Top 60 panoramas, counting down, No. 24. I love panoramas and they are a major part of my photography, but for a long time I mostly avoided posting them on IG because it’s hard to do them justice here. They are just too small to catch you attention and as a result they get a lot less views. Panoramas on IG make a postage stamp look large in comparison! I have finally just decided to go ahead and post them anyway. Because I’ve mostly avoided posting them there is a bit of a backlog. There will be several versions of each, a regular version, a swipe left version, and sometimes a short video version. Hope you enjoy! Wayne
Blah blah blah. Hope y’all enjoy this shot from Sedona!
The Bird Cage Theatre was a theater, saloon, and brothel in the legendary wild west town of Tombstone, Arizona. The longest poker game in history was played in it's basement. It continued nonstop from 1881 to 1889 for a total of 8 years. 🤠 .

For some reason, having grown up in the Phoenix area, I seem to avoid it. I’ve been all over Arizona exploring, but I’ve left Phoenix untouched for the most part. I guess I felt like just because I lived there, it wasn’t as interesting to visit. I have changed my mind, & I’m disappointed in myself for being stubborn
My friend, @ipnin
, shared one of her go-to spots. It seems so wild to me that there are vast expanses of hiking, nestled in such an urban place. Still, I’m glad some of this has been maintained & preserved, despite the immense sprawl of Phoenix
I’m game for more adventures. If anyone wants a hiking partner, keep me in mind. I’ve become more familiar with the area & am less intimidated to drive up now

Hey look, another picture of the Super Wolf Blood Moon from last night! I think it's really interesting when an eclipse takes place and in some ways social media is a good thing - it's gotten a lot more people interested in cool, fun events like this than you would have seen a decade ago. The flip side is, everyone's feed are filled with the same photos today. Typically when there's something everyone is excited about en-masse, I'll head the other way. However, I figured I'd snap a few quick, easy, basic shots last night.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I wasn't planning on doing much to shoot the eclipse. My priority yesterday was to enjoy the NFL conference championship games rather than go out somewhere away from city lights and plan out a shot. I figured I'd take a look at the sky after the games were over and see if there was any possible way to get a shot from home (shot this from my backyard). At first it was pretty cloudy, I couldn't see much. But then luckily the clouds broke and I was able to shoot for about 15 mins and that just so happened to line up with the height of totality. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

One of the more memorable days of 2019 so far was this day and exploring slot canyons near Page, AZ. We met up with our buddy @brandon_dugi
and he took us to check out Secret Canyon with the help of @horseshoebendtours
! Unlike my time exploring Antelope Canyon, we had this whole place to ourselves with no time restraints. Safe to say this was a photographers paradise for an afternoon. Days like this convince me that so much of life is about the amazing people you meet and the relationships you build from them. Very thankful!

Sunset glow at the edge of massive seasonal waterfall amongst a cathedral of rock deep in one of my favorite wilderness areas.
A truly fulfilling and amazing backpacking trip covering some serious miles and terrain with good friends and Payton the adventure dog.
