A tiny jog for the driver’s license office at Fuchu.
I went there to renew my driver’s license today.
Since the office is close to my town , It’s very convenient to go there.
But only 4km was not sufficient to exercise running😓

Did you know of something called LISS?
LISS is the opposite of HIIT. It’s stands for Low Intensity Steady State cardio. Which really means something that keeps you moving but doesn’t increase your heart rate too much. Walking is the perfect example. It is shown to increase your vitality, your mental clarity and outlook, and your waistline to name a few! .
Where are my walkers at? Tell me who you are and how far you usually walk on the daily! 🙌🏻🚶♀️
Pretty freaking STOKED with a half mara PB this morning and equal first place female with @_mollyfitzgerald
(we finished together on purpose 😉) 🥇🥇 did NOT think I was in PB form today but it’s always worth a try, right?! Look at what can happen 🤩 sub-90 is so close I can smell it 👃🏼😏 but first, 50 days til Boston! #irun4evan #roadtoboston #pbday

2 easy miles tonight before my half tomorrow 👍👍
The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential... these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.⠀
I think I’ve found my calling! 😝
We had such a blast this morning @perth.trail.series
Swissmurdie 15 km, learning to hurt from start to finish 👊
I had to swallow my pride and go with a walk run strategy to get up those hills. The descents and running through narrow trail though, 💗⛰ that was magic! Thanks for the best company this morning @janaslad
, I hope you recover ok from your 17 km run 🤣🤦♂️
We’ll be back for another soon @perth.trail.series
! Thanks for having us 🙏 such a wonderful community, I think I made another 10 running buddies today 🤗

I decided to try to beat more crap weather in the forecast tonight/tomorrow. -
I think I started off a bit to fast as I intended to keep my pace closer to my actual race pace. Over all the first 7 miles felt good. Once I hit my first shoe soaking puddle I immediately went into a "fuck this, I'm done" mode. I kept pushing through and around mile 10 I hit a big streak of ice and puddles and slowed down considerably. Around this time I also started feeling some discomfort in my left lower shin, and had some pain in my right hip area. The hip pain cleared up quickly, but the shin issue kept up for the remainder of the run.
I think I'd say today's fitness test was a success, despite wanting a bit better results. Had the road conditions been better I feel it would have had different outcome. Overall I'm just glad things are feeling good and coming together nicely.
Kept the legs guessing with a mix of asphalt, trail, and track today.
All I’ve got tonight is a sweaty car selfie!! I meant to make it to the gym MUCH earlier....but let’s just say building bunk beds for your kids takes wayyyyyy longer than I anticipated (even though my husband @davidlienemann
did most of the work 😂)! But...I got to the gym and did 4miles. They weren’t my greatest- but I got them done!
WEEK 7 COMPLETE: 27.1 miles and 3 strength workouts! .
I feel like I did good this week- probably because I’m actively trying to go a little easier on myself. I don’t have to be perfect 100% of the time. I give it my best each day, and that is plenty good enough. 👍🏻 I had pizza tonight for the first time since New Years and DAMN was it delicious. 🍕🍕🍕
My favorite pic from today.
Happy 2nd birthday to my Big Handsome son. Be brave, be strong, be memorable.
I survived! This race, man. When signed up, we had figured “Oh Zion, that’s 2 hours from Vegas, it won’t be that cold.” Well, record breaking weather in the area. Zion Park got more snow than it ever has.
The race was 6 degrees to start, warming up to a balmy 21 at the finish, with a headwind the whole way.
1:55:45, not a PR, but given the circumstances, I’m happy about it. And the views were unbeatable - chasing snow covered mountains all the way as the sun rose.
I was also 23 seconds off of placing (5th) for my age group, which is a little maddening, especially since I recognized the girl’s name as the girl who finished just ahead of me. But also heartening, since I’ve never come close to placing in anything, ever. 139th place in all, out of 2200 people who started.
And now, on to 3 days of hiking!
Sometimes I need a reminder that I’m not running for “exercise.” There are quicker, easier ways to lose fat and build muscle. And I look just fine anyway 😉
Running, for me, reduces anxiety and teaches patience. It taught me that even my ADHD mess of a mind could follow through on something. It taught me the value of sticking with a plan even when things get rough.
Put one foot in front of the other. Steps add up to miles and you’ll be shocked at how far you can go.
