Yesterday was an incredible day to be outside! I love it when Maine grits her teeth a bit. These two are celebrating their honeymoon by visiting tons of National Parks across the US! They were troopers and handled a full day of freezing rain with smiles! #iceclimbing #noreaster @acadianps
I’m enjoying my last day off before heading back to work tomorrow. 8 days of ice climbing in 12 days off feels pretty good. I’m very grateful for good friends in the great mountains 💃🏼🕺🏾☃️🏔

Amazing time #iceclimbing
today for the first time with @northeastmountaineering
in Crawford Notch. It was a bitter -20 wild chill out there, but it was a ton of fun. Our guide Jordan was extremely knowledgeable and we had a blast!
Two years ago, I got my first paid freelance gig with the outdoor industry- shooting the Ouray Ice Festival for @adidasterrex.
It seemed groundbreaking at the time, but the truth is that freelancing takes constant energy and commitment. There is nothing easy about owning your own business. I have so much respect for people who make comfortable lives with their extraordinary dream of freelance. And while I’ve tamed down travel and networking quite a bit in the last year, I couldn’t be more excited to get back to this place and see all the people who share their dreams and courage in the world of outdoor adventure. See y’all soon ✌️Pictured: @mgclimber1

Love this picture from a couple weeks ago when Jenna and I climbed the west slabs of yam in surprising comfortable weather! Yet again the ravens pillage our stashed bag, rolling it down the scree to the trees below! Jenna is off to the Biathlon World Youth Championships today!! I’m so proud of her ❤️ Good luck and race hard! I can’t wait to get back to adventuring with my best friend❤️
Ice falls at Korouoma Canyon in March 2018. Hope to make at least a daytrip to this special place in the beginning of February as I’ll spend almost a week close by at Ruka Fell. I might need to sacrifice the rest day between a 6-day ski tour in Syöte National Park and a 5-day downhill skiing course in Ruka to make my ice climbing trip happen. But you can always rest later, right?🤞🏻
Ice screws drying by an open fire....Jack Frost nipping at your nose. Rjukan ice climbing life.
