Part 1: From heart to mouth, avoiding the brain
Waiting for his performance at the Baloise session on November 6, LP tells about his new fifth album "Heart to Mouth", which is released on December 7.
NEW YORK. After 4 years since the release of the last album "Lost on You", there are expected long-awaited singles and videos to them "Girls Go Wild", as well as Recovery, online since October 11.
The album "Heart to Mouth", which brings together 12 tracks: folk, pop and r&b reverbs return to merge inside in perfect balance, avoiding the platitudes of the fast-changing music market and it's always like a journey... ✓ LP, the title of your album "Heart to Mouth" - gives the impression that it is easier for you to Express your feelings...
- "Suppose that voicing my thoughts straight from heart to mouth, bypassing the brain and the consistent process of rationalization, makes me feel good, so it's better to convey my feelings/sensations."
✓ When did you start working on this album?
- "The origin of some tracks/songs was some time ago. As you know, I often write for other artists, and sometimes I convey my personal problems in poetry, but not everyone can understand, and therefore can not perform these songs. As a result, such songs remain unclaimed, in the box, waiting to be retrieved and published in the "right album". "Recovery"and the second single "Dreamer" are a couple of examples...".
✓ Who was destined to say "Dreamer"? - "To an emerging singer ... I do not remember the name, it's been a while now ..." ✓ So, has your approach to the writing/creation process changed with this album?
-No, I wouldn't say that. After all, my recordings are always collections of songs. Songs that can be combined with each other, but that do not arise in a particular production: they are discovered spontaneously, immediately, in moments not necessarily associated with the creation of one, EP or album."
