OUT NOW!!! LINK IN BIO “Hallelujah” has been a part of my life since I was a child. I didn’t write it, obviously, but it set a standard of artistry, songwriting, and craftsmanship that made me want to be better.
In a time where people are hungry for fame and fast success, I locked myself in a room and learned how to write songs, produce music, and mix it all on my own.
I wanted to be the anti-thesis of what was put in front of me. To give people a voice who don’t feel represented, to let people know it’s okay to have big feelings, to be different, and show them the strength of vulnerability. Leonard Cohen did that for me.
Every part of this song was recorded, in entirety, in my apartment, into my laptop. 72 doubles of my own voice to make up the choir, tireless single violin takes to make the string section, and all of the years I spent learning how to play guitar, piano, and cello by ear, to create my version of “Hallelujah”. Please download, share, save on Spotify, listen on repeat.
Thank you to everyone who helped bring this to life. @jaimage
