¡Tienes que ir al super! 🛒

HOW TO DEVELOP YOUR BRIDGE (pt. 4)
A disclaimer; this is by no means a scientific approach to building a bridge. This is just what worked for me. This might not be for everyone, but I found it to be a great apporach for someone who starts with movement later in life, like me.
The exercises should be done for 30 seconds or more, and you can do them several times in one session if you want to. They should also be done at least three times a week or more for significant results, at least it was so in my case. For the exercises that work one side, remember to do the other.
7. Camel pose. Now that we have opened the hips, belly and quads this will open up the front of the body in a more connected way, including the chest. It is a very useful warm up stretch, because it is very similar to the full position we want to get into. Remember to activate your glutes and push your pelvis forwards. Can't reach your hands to your feet? No problem, just place your hands palms upwards or to the side on your sacrum instead. Push your chest up to the sky as much as you can, remembering to be aware of your lower back.
8. A more advanced camel pose which stretches your front body also diagonally. You should feel a stretch in the hips, and also belly, chest and front of the shoulders. Remember to do each side. Feel like you are falling sideways? Do this facing nearby a bed or a bench. That way you can catch yourself if you tip. This one is quite advanced, so it is okay if you don't get it right away.
9. Pigeon pose. Pigeon pose is an awesome stretch before your brigdes because it gives you a deep stretch through both thighs, hips, belly and chest. Go as deep as you'd like. Hold as long as you can. This one can be done with one knee in a kneeling position or on the ground to the side like illustrated.

Someone told me the other day my projects look good because I have skills. A compliment for sure, but it also made me sad because I really believe anyone can learn how to DIY.
We didn’t have any schooling in how to do home DIY. We were poor 21/20 year olds when we married, 24/23 when we bought our first builder basic house and ‘got to work’ dressing her up.
My husband did work as a plumbers helper for his dad as a teen, and later as a Journeyman electrician in his 20s before moving on to engineering. He’s the smartest man I know. Marry that background with YouTubing what he doesn’t know and he can get it done!
For me, art was always a passion and I took classes from middle school through college; but I never considered myself an artist and wouldn’t have even said I was good.
The spark I have for color, design and style comes from this inner need to see things improving and becoming more custom. Pinterest gets perused on the weekly (go check out what I’m looking up over there) and I Google all kinds of how - to questions. It makes DIY much easier to see and read other people’s experience with similar projects. Combined with winging it! Yep, flying by the seat of our pants over here 😂.
And when we bought our first house, we still had no money. We really had to start with creativity. That house doesn’t reflect my style at all today, (mustard faux finish walls, black silk curtains, red dining room... oh the list is long there!!!) but she was a lesson. Because I ‘started’ all that you see here on my page can happen.
As with everything worth having in life, it’s all about that ‘start’. It doesn’t have to be glamming up your space. Whatever has sparked your joy is worth doing, learn from others but you’ll also learn from your fails. Just start! ❤️
