A little #realtalk
In case you didn’t know, I don’t wake up every morning with a burning desire to workout, and eat clean. I DO have a much deeper appreciation now though after battling cancer FOR SURE! .
Most people see me as the “fit guy” or “Insanity guy” and they don’t know or remember the poofy, unhealthy, heart attack waiting to happen, negative minded guy with way too much bad cholesterol, high blood pressure, anxiety, stressed out, unappreciative attitude individual... 😲🤦🏻♂️
I do what I do for a couple of reasons. It started with my terrible blood work in my mid 30’s showing a road map to where I was headed. I desperately wanting to FEEL better/healthier and look like I took care of myself not only for ms, but for Heather. It’s not cool to let yourself go btw. She had the kids... What’s my excuse?? .
I also had a deep desire for MORE out of life, and most importantly show/set the example for my family and be the best version of ME for THEM! .
Here’s the KICKER ... Motivation is not naturally occurring. Your “WHY” must be stronger than your excuses. Finding a strong “WHY” is key. Let the pain push you until the vision pulls you as we say.
If you’re #Persistent
you will get it...if you’re #Consistent
you will keep it... and more!!!
Taking Action = Results
Results = Motivation
Motivation does not come first, which is why so many “fall off the wagon”. I chopped up the wagon and burned it to ignite and fuel the fire within me! 🤓
That’s why our groups are so freakin successful. It’s the “X” factor. What are you going to do?
