I am a student and so there are many days where I just don’t have the time to get up, get ready and drive myself to the gym. I like to just wake up and workout in my pjs! This has not only allowed me to be consistent with my workouts but has also made me not dread waking up and stressing about getting ready decently to go to the gym!
Have 2 more workouts and 1 LISS left for the week! Going to make sure I finish the week of strong regardless of having 3 midterms 😨
Already reached my water goal for the day as well!

Holiday Challenge W1D1: I'm trying a new workout this holiday season in an attempt to combat the usual post-Halloween to New Year's slump: @kaisafit
Kaisa Keranen's 6 Week Holiday Challenge. It's five 30-minute workouts a week with bonus nutrition coaching through @arivaleteam.
It's a mix of circuits, strength training, and functional movement that will hopefully be novel enough compared to my usual straight lifting plus cardio routine to keep me motivated. Five out of the six weeks will be done by Holmat, so here's to some kick ass progress by December 14!

This is where it all began, along with running like I’ve mentioned before. A 15lb kettle bell, medium Golds Gym resistance band, Taylor made resistance band for the booty gains, and a 40lb weight vest with removable weights. The Taylor made band is fairly new, I just recently bought it in extreme resistance, but I started with hard. You don’t need a gym membership to get going! The workout options are endless with just these few things. I only started going to the gym again 3 weeks ago, almost all of my weight loss was from home guys!!! Excuses are for people who don’t want it bad enough. Shut up and get up!!!🙌🏼🖤
I used to only ever workout at home. Turbo jam, P90x, T25 etc... I def turned into a gym rat since I started competing, but I've been implementing more home workouts(@iheartmacros
WHIIp at home specifically) if the babe is sick or there are no spots at the gyms daycare. There are so many things you can do at home with minimal equipment! It definitely is a little harder to focus and get it done quick with a little stinker getting in the way, but in between cuddles, kisses, and boogie wiping, we still managed to get it done! Phase 3 means Cardio Flow is on Tuesday and there are 10 moves of 4 reps each for 8 rounds. 😳
That’s like 320 total reps but it’s not meant to be easy, it’s meant to challenge you! I like a good challenge!💪🏻
This is an ADVANCED technique that is NOT recommended for beginners or to be used without professional supervision. This is referred to as #occlusiontraining
. Tighten a band or tourniquet around the upper head of the bicep, as shown, to restrict the blood from leaving your arms. With this method you don’t need to use as heavy of weight and you can have more intense pumps and cell swelling. This can result in greater muscular growth. Do this ONLY on your last set or 2 and NEVER leave the band on for longer than the set. If you leave the band on too tightly for too long you could pass out so be smart about it. This can be a great technique to throw in once in awhile but don’t over do it and be safe! #CoachKyleFitness

I started today with meditation and Personal Development, so went into the day with a clear mind and positive vibes and it's been a much easier day than most of last week.
Did my absolute favourite workout after work, tea and toast back at home, shower, PJs and then getting back to the lovely ladies who've contacted me about getting into my fitness group 💕

❌ WARM UP YOUR BUNS ❌
There may be differences of opinion on this BUT for me personally activating my glutes with a booty band before a leg day has made an impact to my results. Warming up the muscles and engaging them correctly before applying weighted exercises will a) enhance your mind to muscle connection and b) prevent a possible injury.
The exercises here are my ‘go to’ for activation. I tend to do 4 exercises with no rest in between and for 2 sets. And the BURN IS REAL 🔥
If you workout from home, you could do all of these exercises with no rest for 4 sets and you’ll be surprised how effective it is. I’m not saying resistance band workouts will build muscle but they work up a damn good sweat and pump 💪🏻
