Back in college this was one of my favorite places to go to relax and do homework. It was out at the dam in Rapidan, Minnesota. About 15 minutes from Mankato. To get to this beautiful spot required hiking on a trail up the side of a steep hill. It was worth it though.
So has anyone else noticed that January is already half over? Wasn't it just Christmas like yesterday? It is just so bizarre how fast that time can go! Obviously, it goes even faster when you are having fun! ...
So we just updated and created a brand new website/blog for ourselves! I know hwat you are thinking, broken record right? It seems like we are always "updating" our site. But we decided to opt for a SUPER user-friendly and free website for this year, that way we can actually update it on the AT and not have so many issues (y'all, I thought that wordpress was a doosey and was constantly having to google how to do things, but that is just me) ...
Anyways, as our first post of 2019, we thought it would be fun to answer some random questions about us, to let y'all get to know us more! We answered 10 random questions over on our blog, check out the link in our bio! Of course, we wanted to give yall a little taste, so here is some of the questions we answered:
1️⃣ What is your spirit animal and why?
K: I don't know about spirit animal. BUT my Patronus is the dolphin because I have a gentle nature, see the good in others and would rather have fun and play around than take things too seriously. 💥
T: An online quiz said Baby White Bear... But when I stayed at a Navajo reserve in Arizona, one of the people there told me my spirit animal was the turtle because of its slow-paced lifestyle, and emotional strength - so let's go with the Turtle.
2️⃣ What sports do you play or have you played?
K: I played softball the most, from like 3- 15, so 12 years. I also played volleyball for 2 years in high school. 💥
T: When I was 8 or 9, my parents signed me up for Tae Kwon Do, and besides skateboarding that is pretty much all I did. I love competing and worked my way up to third-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
3️⃣ What's your favorite movie?
K: Definitely Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, this is also my favorite HP book.
T: The Lion King!

This is the place where I let go of everything, said no more, and some decisions were made that made my life a whole lot better. The place where I left all the hurt behind and replaced it with looking forward to a brighter future. I sat on a rock for 3 hours and took in this view.
