Last weekend we hiked 10 miles around Griffith Park to the Hollywood sign. This weekend we are tackling Echo Mountain and the Mount Lowe Railway trails. Since we started the speaking tour in October last year, we've led 12 official #HikingMyFeelings
hikes, sharing trails and good vibes with folks we meet on the speaking tour and folks who find us miraculously through these WILD algorithms!
If you're wondering what a hike with us is like, we got you! On Wednesdays, we send out all the info about this weekend's hikes via email. On the morning of our hike, we meet at the van, then head to the trailhead together. We are experts at creating a fun, warm, inclusive environment. Barry and I have been fostering community in a judgment free zone together since 2010 via skydiving, paddleboarding, and now hiking. Our groups are on the smaller side, which makes for a nice balance of chatting and quiet time. Toward the front of the pack is where we go if we like to keep to ourselves, and chatty hikers tend to pull up the rear. You don't HAVE to talk about feelings while you hike, but if something comes up and you want to, we're all about hearing your story. While we've been doing some longer distances so far, we heard last week that there is a desire for some shorter hikes. So help us help you! Where do you live? What kinds of distances are you comfortable with? We have some HUGE news to share with you soon, and your answers to those two questions are going to help us make sure we are doing hikes that are in your sweet spot!
If you live around Los Angeles and would like to join us this weekend, DM me and I'll send you meeting times and info!
We hope to see you on the road or on the trail!
