Hike more, worry less. ✌💙
The looks I get when I see so many awesome people on my team pushing themselves past their comfort zones and crushing goals! #sacredloveoflife
Headed into the weekend like...👱🏻♀️🥾
Trying to figure out who I was.
Happy some days, crying all day the next.
Hated the body I was in.
Telling myself if I just kept good grades, I was succeeding.
I wanted more and wanted to feel better but I really felt like I'd always feel this way. I wasn't OK with it, but didn't know how to fix it.
I'm a believer.
I'm growing in confidence.
I have a more positive mindset.
I'm learning to fail forward and move past fear.
I'm crushing goals and learning from the un-crushed ones.
I dream bigger.
Staying stuck isn't an option.
I purposely do and seek things daily that fill my heart up.
I connect and refuse to try and do everything alone.
I take action.
I love my crew hard.
My mindset had shifted.
My goals of "fit and healthy" extend far beyond chasing skinny.
I seek motivation and don't just wait for it to show up.
I share my struggles and turn them into strengths.
I still like wine and beer but keg stands are a thing of the past;)
Who knows, but I can't wait to see.
All I know is that I with each day, all I can do is try to be 1% better than the me I was yesterday.
No better than anyone else, just better than me <3
There's so much work to do, but man the journey is cool.
Hallelujah Nevertheless was the song the pain couldn’t destroy. .
Open your eyes, look to the skies, We are the children of the promise.
Hold to what's real, everything heals, We are the children of the promise.
Open your heart, look for the sparks, We are the children of the promise.
Love is your place, feel the light on your face, We are the children of the promise.
Hallelujah nevertheless you’re my joy invincible.
about to drop a ridiculous amount of snow, I’m dreaming of my beloved Belknap Mountains. The sun on my shoulders, mountain air in my lungs and my legs burning from the climb as I drag my butt to the top, awaiting my views, the feeling of accomplishment and the sweet treat I have hidden in my bag. Til then, I can be found on the treadmill and spinning bike, wishing it was summer year round in northern New England ⛰🚴🏻♀️🏃♀️🧘♀️#hike #hikerchick #GetOutside #HikeNH #summerdreaming #favoriteplaces
In the woods is the only time I feel truly at peace.
I can’t stop thinking back to this weekend when I got to play in the snow with 67 of my closest friends. Even though it snowed at least a foot up in the mountains, that didn’t stop us from heading out, dark and early at 6:30 am to conquer the Winter Trifecta! We cut trail, froze fingers/toes, soaked socks, had sore everything. We also laughed until it hurt, took tons of amazing photos and had some serious type 2 fun. Thank you @boulderhikerchicks
for helping bring so many wonderful ladies together and making sure we always take it to the next level! And a special thanks to @larsenphotoco
for the amazing 1st photo!
Other photo credits belong to some amazing ladies whose fingers were less frozen than mine. 😂 #bhcwintertrifecta
Good morning ! A little #waterfallwednesday
to start the day 😊 I loved this place so much I booked myself 2 trips there for this year! When I went we didn’t camp out we stayed in the lodge and I really enjoyed that . I didn’t mind the extra hiking for a nice shower at the end of the day . 🤣this place is by far one of the most gorgeous places on the planet . Pictures do not do these gems any justice !i went for four days and we explored all the way to Beaver Falls . I’m hoping to make it to the confluence the next time . The climb down Mooney falls was terrifying ( my last photo🤣🤣🤣) but I had a great group of people who encouraged me a long the way . It’s one of my favorite things about the hiking community .we are mostly all so friendly and encouraging to one another ! #mooneyfalls #havasupai #conquerfear #hikerbabe #hikerbabes #hikerchick #girlswhohike #plussizehiker
Sometimes, I really am just left without words. Sometimes it’s because of joy, all I can do is smile. Sometimes because of peace, all I can do is breath deeply. Sometimes I’m just too sad to speak.
I tried to tell him it wasn't THAT bad. But he was spent. 🤣🐕
Seriously though, 20 mins flew by! It was hard but fun, just like my mom told me. (She got it done earlier today while I was at work! 💪🙌)
I love that I can get home from work (and an outrageous commute bc of 🌧🤦🏼♀️) and go from zero motivation to just getting it done and feeling SO freaking gooood after!
The accountability of my crew + my momma,
The fact that I have a short but effective workout literally at my finger tips, a body that I'm grateful I can move and my all natural pre-workout, and a desire to FEEL good, left me with no excuses. 👊
Nothing changes if nothing changes.
Complaining and not putting in the work can't be an option. ❌
Missing the mountains something fierce lately. //

Time to tame the beast❤❄🐶🐾
Soldiers pass in Sedona is a trail that offers so many different cool spots! From thisbtrail you can access the 7 scared pools , devils kitchen ( the largest sinkhole in AZ) Brins Mesa, and of you can find the trail the secret arches . I learned the hard way that this trail doesn’t open until 8 am . I love trails that offers a variety of scenery and this one gives you forest views as well as summit type views ! So many interesting places along this one ! #sedona #hikeaz #hikearizona #hikesedona #guesthost #plussizehiker #hikerchick #hikerbabe #hikerbabephxaz #hikerbabes

One of the most beautiful waterfalls in Ohio. We got stuck in the parking lot because the snow was so deep but once the 4x4 kicked in we got out and decided to take the Jeep for a loop around the lot. The glare on the park rangers face made my day. 😂😂
It’s almost spring and I am excited - new backpacking adventures and sleeping under the stars can’t come soon enough #keepgoing #hikertrash
10 year challenge. Wow. 10 years ago I was very unhealthy. I spent every weekend in a bar drinking and smoking cigarettes. Everything I did centered around alcohol. Sports games, family parties, birthdays, etc. I was eating crap. I was miserable on the inside. Fast forward to 2019. The changes I’ve made are drastic. Moved to Boulder. Quit smoking cigs about 4 years ago. Quit drinking alcohol 21 months ago. Changed my diet. Started climbing mountains. Honestly, It’s amazing what you can do in 10 years. You have the power to change whenever you want. It’s never ever too late. 🤩🌟💫🤩🌟💫
Photos from the Airbnb ranch we stayed at this weekend 🤩🤩🤩 Snowkist Ranch, 30 north of Gypsum.
