Great Barred Frog (Mixophyes fasciolatus) for #frogfriday
Centralian Green Tree Frog in the habitat that you most often encounter them; rocky gorges. Not a lot of trees around, but regardless, I’ve never actually seen one in a tree! Arrernte mob call frogs Antyetyerre. Haven’t found if there are species specific names, yet! Anyway, keen for lots of froggos on the coast in a few weeks! 🐸 ✌️
I need to start watermarking my memes and photographs because they’re always getting stolen and it actually ticks me off.
Here’s an old one I’m bringing back from a long time ago.
My first version of a series of (60 x 90cm) vector poster.
Title: Death by Traditional Medicine (Series 1)
I was born in a Traditional Chinese medicine physicians family. Been seeing this since the 80s. Able to see things first hand.
This version is designed by one 2 groups (Habitat: Land, Seawater, Freshwater) and (Species: Mammals, Marine Fauna and Herpetology) The 6 groups that mostly exploited for traditional medicine in Asia (Not just in China. Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand and rest of Asia too)
In the human society, the red cross was a symbol of healing, medicine and hospital yet at here is ironically used as a murder weapon for killing others species in order to save one species: Homo Sapiens.
Message me if keen to use the artwork.
