There is no magic pill, wrap, or shake that's going to get you results. It's devotion, dedication, discipline. You will not change unless you want to. Unless you're willing to work, willing to sacrifice. It's making time for the gym, it's making time to meal prep, it's getting to the gym when you're tired and sore and rather be anywhere else. It's being completely worn the fuck out but still getting your meal prep done. I'm far from where I want to be, but I'm far from where I used to be. I'm tired, I'm sore. Excuses don't get you anywhere. Saying "I know what I need to do I just need to do it" but not doing it isn't going to get you anywhere. If you're not putting in the work don't complain that you're not seeing results... This is a long ass process with ups and downs, it fucks with your head and your emotions get all over the place. Ladies... which one are you??? Know and identify your body type and eat accordingly... the truth is for me... IM EASYYYY to gain weight... like seriously. I’ve worked hard to repair my metabolism through a healthy diet and daily activity. But I also know.. and have made peace with the fact...that I MUST watch what I eat for the rest of my life..... period! I am NOT one who builds muscle “easily”.... I am NOT one who is naturally thin! Whatever results I get..., it’s because I consistently worked my butt of to get it....
I have to work daily on my goals if I’m going to make it long term. Ive had to cut out regular alcohol from my diet (mixed drinks, champagne, & wine) (I drink it every blue moon)..., I had to lower and omit certain carbs from my diet. (Bread, rice, pasta,sugar etc) (again I’ll have a little every blue moon) I HAD to change how I viewed food. I was (like a lot of people) addicted to unhealthy carbs...,and have a unhealthy relationship with food. I didn’t have proper self control. So I personally need to stay away from certain foods. I was honest with myself. I identified what my issues were! SORRY PEOPLE, THERE MIGHT JUST BE SOME FOODS YOU MUST STAY AWAY FROM. Those people who have struggled with weight/obesity...know what I’m talking about. •
ANDDDD here’s another really hard hitter... (NO.., NOT EVERYONE CAN enjoy CERTAIN FOODS in moderation either) Im am an emotional/stress eater. I had to be honest with myself here also. I wasn’t losing weight before because I thought I could eat what I wanted when I wanted and not be consistent with doing right. Listen....If you need to lose fat... you MUST eat to your goals. PERIOD.. and it must be a lifestyle..I’m not better than anyone...I used to be what a lot of people are now. But know change is possible. It all starts with your MIND...💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 Fat loss, muscle gains/weight gain....it all STARTS and ENDS with WHAT YOU EAT 💯 PLEASE STOP FOOLING YOURSELF. Unhealthy eating habits...can eventually lead to health issues & or being overweight....! It also sabotages your current journey...... PERIOD!
