I feel prettyyyyy, oh so prettyyyy 🎵 I was able to get this dress waaay cheap, expecting to wear it to “rehearsal” dinner this Friday night... A few hours later I find out the dinner is casual and people are coming and going as they please in jeans, or whatever... So instead of being upset about buying a dress for the occasion and taking it back to return or exchange it, you can bet I’ll be keeping this pretty little beaut!! 💃🏼 We try to live pretty frugal, especially with everything we have going on right now (just bought a house, paying for wedding, Etc). but since I got a really good deal on the dress and I rarely buy clothes for myself, this little honey is going in my closet for another occasion 💋I’ll be wearing another dress I’ve had for a couple years but have never worn for the Friday casual dinner (read my previous post for background on dressing glam/girly). Starting October 1st is the #90daychallenge ! This is something I learned about after reading Girl, Wash Your Face and stalking Rachel Hollis on social media. 😂 . . Its basically has you ending the last part of the year strong which makes your new year goals more achievable. It's based off of her 5 to thrive theory. 1. Drink half your body weight in ounces. 2. Wake up an hour earlier to devote to yourself. 3. Cut out one bad thing from your diet. I'll be giving up soda... 4. Move your body. Exercise for at least 30 minutes everyday. 5. Gratitude. Write the 5 things your most grateful that happened on that particular day at night before bed. . . I've already starting drinking half my body weight so I plan on increasing it. I'm weening myself off soda right now and I've already been running every morning and taking aerial silks classes. The one thing I'll probably struggle with is journaling. That's something I've never really done and I can see myself easily forgetting it... I also wake up early but I think I want to start trying meditation or yoga right when I wake up but then I kinda feel like running is my version of meditation so I'm not sure how I'll end up tweaking that one...🤷🏼‍♀️ Is anyone else planning on doing this challenge? . .
