Another Sunday of meal prep in the books! Used the slow cooker this morning to make some shredded chicken that I’ll use throughout the week in various dishes. Today the chicken got used for tacos! These tacos had onion cilantro jalapeño and topped with salsa verde. The sides of cauliflower rice and black beans. Very Macro friendly with 40 grams of carbs, 30 grams of protein, and 5 grams of fat and only 282 calories!! Also on the menu this week is oven roasted turkey breast, sweet potato, and cauliflower. Also, lemon pepper salmon with sautéed veggies. Contrary to what most people think, you don’t have to starve to be healthy or buy a bunch of useless supplements. Make a plan and stick to it, easy as that. I can bet my cooking is better tasting and just as nutritious as your meal replacement shake. I rather eat my calories. I mean tacos or a shake, which would you prefer? I get asked, why I still meal prep if I’ve already lost so much weight. Simply put, I’ve been doing it for 10 years, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Structure is needed to keep everyone on track including myself, and well, losing weight isn’t hard, keeping it off is. How many people do you know that lose weight and then 3 months later are right back where they started? Find out the caloric intake you need to reach your goals, meal prep, and be consistent with this and your workouts. It takes time, but it’s worth it. You’re worth it. I was gifted a jar of backyard raw honey yesterday. I know. You're thinking, sooooo what?! This jar of honey signifies so much more. See I've been chatting with @jodielynn89 over FB for over a year and a half. She was placed on my team and at first I didnt know what to do. Do I reach out and chat? Scary right! Well, the best changes happen when you reach beyond your comfort zone. So I reached out and we've been messaging ever since. We've come to know each other and our families. I FINALLY got to meet her yesterday at our rally. She drove 5 hours one way from New York with her wife and baby girl just to spend time with us. After the rally, she gave me this jar. At first I was just so excited because I love anything homemade and the fact that she remembered us chatting about bees before just blew my mind. But later I got to thinking. This whole oil journey has been far more than I could have imagined. Pushing comfort zones. Finding the things that make you, you and throwing them out into the world without fear. Cheering on others when they find their niche because it probably is your weakness. Team building, relationship making, confidence boosting, and just being true to your raw self. It begins with a starter kit. The oils are what you can hold in your hand, but the above are what come along that you hold in your heart. You can't put a price on confidence, health, wellness or relationships. There is a way to live more open, real and raw. It just taking a risk into the unknown and finding yourself. And although it probably tastes amazing, I dont think I could ever open this jar of honey. It's going to sit in my kitchen as a constant reminder of why I'm doing what Im doing. Ya know, cause I spend most of my time in the kitchen being 2 little kids snack bitch 💁‍♀️💁‍♀️💁‍♀️

I had 2 cups of bran flakes with almond milk this morning bc I planned to fast until dinner since I knew there was a big meal of chicken parm. . Except I had appetizers of popcorn chips and veggie platter and cheese and crackers all afternoon, aside from what is pictured, bc I was hungry and I couldn't help myself and everytime I saw them I wanted to eat them. And I'm just not really having the best time right now. I went into this entire day knowing it was my day before weigh-in and that I shouldn't eat much and then at some point in the afternoon I stopped caring and I'm admitting that. HOW TO LOOSE WEIGHT BY CHANGING YOUR SELF IMAGE?🤔 #LawOfAttraction We need to remove the LABELS and the stories we tell ourselves. A lot of people will view themselves as overweight and they will become ATTACHED to the LABEL that says "I am this type of person" "I have a slow metabolism" "I am big boned" It's so true I often get clients coming in saying, "I've always had really big legs, this is just my body type" or "All my family members are big, aka genetics" Whatever the label is understand the more we attach the label, the more the label has power over us. So, the first part of this process is simply deciding to let go of the story we tell ourself, realise that we are not a victim of our past. We are who we choose to be in the present moment. DECIDE TO LET GO OF THE LABEL IT NO LONGER SERVES YOU. A powerful process for doing this is to start to imagine yourself getting into shape. Begin to visualise yourself in your ideal body. And as you begin to imagine that, begin to see the kind of habits that you'll have, you'll realise that maybe you get up a little bit earlier in the morning. Maybe you go for a walk in the morning or after work for 30 minutes.Maybe you're eating more frequently. Maybe you're getting your veggies in each meal. Maybe you're drinking 3 Litres of water. Imagine, visualise and actually FEEL into the person you prefer to be. Make the decision and view yourself in the new way. Let go of the old self image.
