I was gifted a jar of backyard raw honey yesterday. I know. You're thinking, sooooo what?! This jar of honey signifies so much more.
See I've been chatting with @jodielynn89
over FB for over a year and a half. She was placed on my team and at first I didnt know what to do. Do I reach out and chat? Scary right! Well, the best changes happen when you reach beyond your comfort zone.
So I reached out and we've been messaging ever since. We've come to know each other and our families. I FINALLY got to meet her yesterday at our rally. She drove 5 hours one way from New York with her wife and baby girl just to spend time with us.
After the rally, she gave me this jar. At first I was just so excited because I love anything homemade and the fact that she remembered us chatting about bees before just blew my mind.
But later I got to thinking. This whole oil journey has been far more than I could have imagined. Pushing comfort zones. Finding the things that make you, you and throwing them out into the world without fear. Cheering on others when they find their niche because it probably is your weakness. Team building, relationship making, confidence boosting, and just being true to your raw self.
It begins with a starter kit. The oils are what you can hold in your hand, but the above are what come along that you hold in your heart. You can't put a price on confidence, health, wellness or relationships.
There is a way to live more open, real and raw. It just taking a risk into the unknown and finding yourself. And although it probably tastes amazing, I dont think I could ever open this jar of honey.
It's going to sit in my kitchen as a constant reminder of why I'm doing what Im doing. Ya know, cause I spend most of my time in the kitchen being 2 little kids snack bitch 💁♀️💁♀️💁♀️
