y así se ve el cambio en mi cuerpo 👀 .
Ahora SI puedo decir que ya terminé de deshincharme y el cambio que se ve ES porque he bajado ⬇️ 2.5kg de grasa (4%) 🙌🏼 y he subido ⬆️ 1.1kg de músculo! 💪🏼 Interesante 🤔porque una de las preocupaciones más grandes es la de “perder músculo” cuando se hace algo así.. pero entonces que está pasando?
Bueno según la teoría, mi cuerpo está usando el exceso de grasa (reserva) como combustible para hacer lo que tiene que hacer 🔥 Al tener niveles bajos de glucosa el cuerpo se vuelve más sensible a la insulina y la grasa se vuelve tu fuente de energía ⚡️⚡️⚡️
Y cómo me siento? La verdad es que bien! No he tenido bajones, ni malos humores, y ANTOJOS así como que diga “ALA ME MUERO POR UNA TORTA DE CHOCOLATE” tampoco... y eso que AMO los postres! 🤤 Una de las cosas que he notado es que siento menos ansiedad por la comida porque no estoy pensando todo el día en que tengo que comer 😌
Y bueno, eso es por el momento! Seguiré este experimento personal un tiempo más. Y nop, aún no se lo recomiendo a nadie. 24 días es un tiempo muy corto así que seguiré probando! 🙌🏼⚡️

I have lost many of my patients, near friends and family to you.⠀
You put them on a roller coaster of emotions. Made them struggle. Face weakness and dramatic physical decline. Have pain to a depth no one could imagine. Battle to even eat an ounce of their favorite food or sometimes any food for that matter. Face fears they never thought they would…⠀
And yet, see life in a different light.⠀
On Friday, I had to say goodbye to one of my patients, who was like a family member to me. In his final days, he still laughed and kept his sarcastic humor. Found a reason to smile. All while, having his family surround him.⠀
And although he expressed at times feeling scared, he was and is alike many of my patients – some of the bravest people I know. Inspiring me myself to live life to the fullest and take care of my health.⠀
Make health my priority.⠀
And because of all my work as a Registered Dietitian in the oncology (cancer) field, I had also become a board certified specialist in oncology nutrition – to help my patients to a greater degree and with a higher level of care.⠀
And though working with cancer is difficult as you can imagine, helping truly make difference is so rewarding. This was the foundation to why I started my business, Simply Wellness, and my new program, Simple Nutrition System, to reach more people and speak on ways I can you make simple change with nutrition for your health and wellness. Reduce risk for chronic disease. Make an impact on your life and how you feel.⠀
I am so grateful for each person that has been in my life thus far.⠀

Realistically speaking, what you REALLY need to explore, and create a plan to change (if you are trying to reach a particular goal, or even just creating a healthier lifestyle), is what your HABITS look like CONSISTENTLY.
▶️ Are you CONSISTENTLY skipping the gym, yet want to lose your stubborn belly fat?
▶️ Are you CONSISTENTLY using food to cope with feelings, yet want to walk away from having food guilt?
▶️ Are you CONSISTENTLY allowing yourself to feel like a failure, but not stepping up your commitment to figuring out where those feelings are coming from?
▶️ Are you CONSISTENTLY quitting because you had an *off* week?
And here’s a good one...
▶️ Are you even CONSISTENTLY eating and resting ENOUGH?!
Rather than beat yourself up for what you feel like was *awful*, you need to dig a little deeper and figure out what’s causing you to CONSISTENTLY go down that rabbit hole...
Because if you can’t allow yourself to have an *off* week, it’s safe to say the HEALTHY LIFESTYLE you want, hasn’t really been created yet. 🤯

Sometimes your goals can be overwhelming and challenging if you focus too much on the end game...especially if it’s not a small goal.
Putting all that pressure on yourself before you even get started can really mess with your head and sometimes make you give up before you’ve even got started especially with those New Years Resolutions lists coming right around the corner.
Don’t get me wrong, it is healthy to recognize your long term vision and realize that good things come to those who wait because BIG things are definitely worth fighting for. But sometimes you have to just concentrate on what you can do TODAY.
If you take one day at a time...then before you know it, YOU will reach your goals no matter how big they are! It just takes consistency and never giving up of course!!!
Tomorrow is a NEW week FULL of possibilities so take it one day at a time!!! 💕
We made some essential products last night. I made Joyful heart lotion and perfume. Love this blend together!! Did I mention NO TOXINS?
To make the lotion:
1/2 cup Shea butter
3TBSP Avocado oil
5 drops Joy essential oil
5 drops Grapefruit essential oil
Mix everything together and wallah you are smooth like a babies butt 🤗
To make the perfume:
5 drops Joy YLEO
5 drops Grapefruit YLEO

I love seeing these girls come into the gym to get skinny, then realize there are so many more (and way more fun!) goals to pursue in the gym! I watch them crush deadlifts, get their first pull-ups, put in the extra work after classes, and put themselves out there on the competition floor in front of a hundred people. You girls inspire me ♥️
There is no one just like YOU! Don't try to conform to what others think beautiful is. We are all different and I'm so glad. Can you imagine how boring life would be if we were all the same?!
Came back from a weekend filled with a lot of good food and drinks. Felt good to sweat it out and get my body feeling good and ready to kick start this crazy busy week💪🏼 tried a workout from the new step program and I am hooked already!! 💃🏽

Omg... where should I begin... this day I was in denial about the way I looked. I didn’t think I looked this big when I was looking at my own mirror... but I also wanted to avoid taking my picture of a body shot. I was some what in denial of how I was appearing to others. Fast forward a year later and I’m back on my fitness journey to being a healthier me. I honestly don’t know how much weight I have lost... I’m afraid of the scale. I also choose not to weigh myself, it is better for my mental health.
