Never stop pushing yourself. For a while I fell off and it happens. Life gets in the way and you lose focus. Selbst wenn, hätte ich dieses „Glücksgefühl“ wie ich es heute beim anschauen habe, sicher nicht empfunden! Was hat sich aber verändert? Warum sehe ich die Welt 🌍 heute mit anderen Augen?🤔 Ich denke, dass es vor allem die Erkenntnis ist, dass Zufriedenheit und Glück 🍀 NICHT aus dem Außen, vor allem nicht vom Erwerb materieller Dinge oder mit Konsum zu erlangen sind. Viel mehr ist es die Einsicht, dass Werte wie Familie, Gesundheit, Zusammenhalt, Freundschaft, berufliche Erfüllung, Liebe und Freundlichkeit etc. zu innerem Reichtum verhelfen und uns von INNEN heraus zufrieden und glücklich machen 😊 Unter anderen haben mir die Meditation 🧘🏻‍♀️ und Yoga auch zu dieser Einsicht verholfen. I have met a lot of people who are waiting on someone else to give them permission to do what they want to do. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I used to be like this too, I would come up with something I'm enthusiastic about, tell it to someone and wait to get some sort of approval from them before moving on and doing it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This type of thinking has been detrimental to my growth and it is to yours. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ NOW, I do what I want only because I want to. Since changing my mindset, I have been able to grow in ways I didn't imagine possible. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Stop waiting for someone to give you permission, you have only one life, take charge of it. How i’ve been lately v.s how i’m tryna be... 🙃🤷🏻‍♀️ A completely unintentional depressive wave made a reappearance back into my life (as of a few days ago) and I am not here for it. I find it extremely unappealing and unattractive to myself when I am unhappy— I do not enjoy feeling this way. Last Wednesday I became really overwhelmed with school, work, and the gym... and had to take a bit of a pause. I worked out at home on Thursday (vid w/ exercises soon to come) & just felt very bLaH. The weekend happened, still overwhelmed, but I had fun nonetheless. Then Sunday rolled round, and I had an unavoidable breakdown in the bathroom at work. I can blame how consumed I’ve become on perfecting my schoolwork and work-work... but I think we all know this breakdown was panic-induced because of a number I saw on the scale. 🤦🏻‍♀️🙄 I told myself I was over this— that I was FREE. So why did I care so much ?? Idk. Maybe it was outside pressure from a peer telling me I should weigh less, or maybe I just fell back a step after taking so many leaps forward. Who knows. Backtracking is common. I always say this— so I’ma say it again cuz I really need to hear it right now... but nOT EVERY DAY IS GONNA BE 100%. Some days I feel like a fat piece of crap, some days I preach body positivity/acceptance, and other days I’m SO content & at peace with my own body and progress that life seems to be realll easy. Either way— I am not okay right now. But that’s okay. Because it’s OKAY to NOT BE okay. Tomorrow I may be 100%, but today I am most certainly not. And I just gotta live with that. Whether that means takin’ a niceee bath, or a nap, or whatever form of self-care I often neglect... I’ll find my way. I’ll be okay. I KNOW I’ll be okay, because I have been before.🌷🧸
WHOA BABY IT’S COLD! . Right now where I live it’s currently 2 degrees ( my weather app says it feels like -18😢) YIKES! . I mention this because just about a week ago, I was enjoying some warm sunny weather and not having any trouble keeping hydrated. .
