A bespoke Ash breakfast table.
A grave surround for my uncle. Rest in peace buddy.
I've been working on the top of the #walnut #desk
and getting better at using more #handtools
in my builds. This is an old Fulton plane that was my dad's and needs to be restored but after sharpening the iron, it seemed to do a decent job and get consistent shaving. I need to work on sharpening it more but so far so good! #walnutwednesday
Replacent table top in Oak.
Lots of good guesses yesterday! But here is what I was working on. A square 30inch long 24inch ruler. (Swipe to the end to see a video of it.) It has some standard dimensions and some standard thicknesses on the faces and two sides are blank so I can use it as a story stick. On the final ones I’ll have he hash marks be solid they are a little too subtle on this one. But let me know what you think!
Un oggetto semi sconosciuto ai più, ma di una bellezza e perfezione rara: la forbice da maglieria. Il mono-anello viene indossato nell’anulare, e le lame vengono usate sotto il palmo della mano che le nasconde e le protegge. #knitweartools #scissors #gesture #handtools
Started to spray all the components for bookshelves
Not sure what I like better, the 🕊 tails or the 🐆...
We have a ton of stuff designed by Charley Parker in the nursery so transferring his design to the drawer just made sense!
The only thing left on the end table build is to cut some slots in the frame to attach the top, then it’s time to edit down this 📹
Legs, front aprons and the pattern to shape them are done. While I was making the drawer blades I couldn't resist taking a few shavings out if the maple to see its figure.
Las patas, los largueros frontales y la plantilla para darles forma están listos. Mientras preparo los largueros divisores de los cajones no he podido evitar sacar una virutas para ver la figura del arce rizado.
