People are always looking for the perfect workout that's gonna revolutionize their fitness & have them get ripped overnight. Then when it comes to implementing, nobody cares. They go in, go through the motions & go out. ➖
Let me make something clear. It's a lot less about the program you're following, & a lot more about HOW you do it. And going to the gym is only part of it. What you do inside the gym is what really matters.
So let me ask you this: when in the gym, are you making it count? Going ALL IN like your life depends on it? Or are you getting ""lost in translation""? Your body is there but your mind not really? Truth is, mediocre workouts will give you mediocre results even with a ""perfect"" program. ➖
Here's how to make the MOST of your workouts: ➖
1. Go in with a PLAN & Follow it: know exactly what you're going to do, how, when and in what order. Make a plan before EACH workout. Exercises, sets, reps, rest periods, everything! ➖
2. Earbuds IN & Music ON: pick your favorite tracks, the ones that boost your spirit & make you feel unstoppable! Have them ready before you go in. ➖
3. FOCUS on the Weights: get in the F*cking ZONE! You can't be pushing a barbell & thinking about something completely different! Connect your mind w/ the muscle, focus on the damn weight & forget everything else!
4. Quit F*cking Texting: If you're using your phone for something else than playing music & tracking the workout (& shooting stories for IG like myself lol), then you're doing it wrong. NO TALKING to other people while in the gym! ➖
