It’s almost my birthday I hate doing this type of picture but here one. At the start of this year I was close to 300LB, 298LB to be exact so I told my self this is the year of change for me, and even tho it’s a little more than half way now I can proudly say I’m 195LB and 18%b body fat in my life I have never been this lean. I won’t lie but this have been the biggest challenge I have ever done but now looking back it’s worth it because during this journey I was able to do stuff I have never done which made me more adventures, and was able to meet new people as well, I made this profile to so I can go back and look at my hard work and I apologize for spamming you guy with my gym video, also I told my self the one thing I wont take shirtless photos of myself it just not me. So today I started my intermittent fasting program! Which means I am posting unfiltered and unflattering photos for my befores :/. This will keep me socially accountable so that if I am not staying true people can call me out. Also I have read and seen a lot of good info on fasting so I thought why the hell not. I am shooting for some fat loss and to see if maybe it fits my desired eating frequency. Trying to eat the same calories and macros will be a challenge though. Not really familiar with this type of eating so lets see how long it takes for @thenickholt to get annoyed with my texts peppered with questions hah. I did a inbody and posted it so i can track my progress from now until the end of the year. I will give this a go until 12/31/2018 and see how it treats me. I’m having “one of those days”. I went home from work sick. Because, I don’t feel okay. And I napped. And I thought. I thought a lot. And then I asked someone “should I feel guilty for wanting to go to the gym, even though I left work early to rest?” And they said “Is it a matter of should? Why would you ever choose to feel guilty?” And I asked them “then what is it a matter of?” AND THEIR ANSWER REALLY STUCK WITH ME. Maybe it’ll stick with you too. They said “You left because you were suffering, if you should feel guilty for pursuing the means to manage the suffering, you may as well have stayed at work.” So, I went and I did an hour of cardio. Нагрузку прессу я даю каждый день, не смотря на утверждение: «не качайте пресс ежедневно, мышцам пресса нужен отдых, да и это не поможет чтобы прорисовать кубики». ⠀ 👉🏽Я имею определенный % жира и благодаря этому пресс виден. 👉🏽Я имею определенную степень тренированности. А именно пресса) Пресс будет не только при низком % жира, НО ТАК ЖЕ если его тренировать. ⠀ «Пресс делается на кухне..» 🤨 Справедливо! Но на кухне то он ДЕЛАЕТСЯ, а вот ВЫТАЧИВАЕТСЯ то он все таки нагрузкой и усилием!!!🔥🔥🔥 Точно так же как и любая мышца. Нельзя же не качая дельты взять и чудесным образом их прорисовать🙈 Так же и с прессом! ⠀ Поэтому каждый день у меня пресс в деле! Тем более, он у меня не «новичок»😜🙈 И порой для него это просто как поддерживающая нагрузка идёт. ☝🏽Но при этом каждый раз я меняю нагрузку, чтобы не вызывать привыкания, либо не делать очень легко! ⠀ С утра, после подъема, я выполняю комплексную интенсивную зарядку чтобы пробудить организм. Прессу уделяю особое внимание: 🔥Подконтрольно и до ЖЖЕНИЯ прорабатываю его. 🔥В то же время все довольно интенсивно и в темпе.🔥Слежу за дыханием. 🔥Важно не гнаться за количеством(хотя оно тоже важно) но нужно делать так, чтоб чувствовать! Пусть это и займёт больше времени. ⠀ Кол-во и вид упражнений зависит от дня: 👉🏽Если это день без трени в зале, то тогда с утра у меня мощный суперсет из 4 упр. 👉🏽Если день с тренировкой на верх: с утра суперсет облегчённый, потому что после тренировки, в зале я ещё раз продалбливаю пресс уже серьёзным суперсетом из 6-9 упр. #leksa_пропресс ⠀ Надо пост про мои рабочие упражнения для пресса?🔥😏

I know this isn't a fitness page, but I just took a bunch of pictures at the gym today, and I'm so proud of how far I have come. I no longer eat junk food. Except for sundays, even God took a rest on the seventh day. I make sure I get my ass into the gym at least 4 days a week. I shoot for 5 but I dont always succeed. Four months ago I was 230 pounds, I'm proud to say I'm now 207 pounds. I still want to loose about 30-40 pounds. My strength training routine has become a constant and I love it! There’s nothing more satisfying than not only seeing the physical results of hard work in the gym, but feeling stronger in and out of the gym! I absolutely love my gym time. It’s time for me to unwind, move my body, challenge myself, and get creative! I love what adding in strength training has done to my yoga practice and how it has changed my perspective of functional movement in general. I now see Chaturanga as a push up, chair pose as a squat, and high lunge pose as regular lunges. It has helped me create my own style and inspired my yoga and movement teacher training, Functional Flow. I’m constantly picking up new ways to incorporate functional strength into yoga and ways to incorporate balance, mobility, and slower, smaller movements into strength training and fitness. Here was today’s snatch session at @ny_weightlifting_academy 😁🏋🏻‍♀️ Going into making this edit, I originally planned on muting out the sound of the video and adding some hardcore music to the background to make it look tough 🤟🏻🎧 BUT THEN I heard what the compilation created on its own... and I didn’t want to do it an injustice! There is something sooo satisfying about the sound of shoes hitting the platform and plates clinking together🤯🔥 Watch the whole video to see me miss 65kg twice, correct it, and then PR for a 70kg double 😁 That very last rep was a STRUGGLE 💥😂🙌🏼 . .
Second exercise fo the day was rack pulls. I've been a little lax when it comes to these but today I I worked my way up to 90kg and did multiple sets for reps at every weight. I have been moving away from the more conventional squatting and exploring the realms of Zercher Squats 😆 Zerchers are done by lifting the bar after placing it in the crooks of the elbows. Certainly a new experience.... These little bad boys not only target your thighs but are also geared largely towards core engagement and mobility as well as focusing on balance. These are needed otherwise the lift and squat could easily go wrong. It takes focus and work and I am building up the weight. Today was the second time I trained doing this exercise for sets and reps and build to 45kg. It is definitely one of my new favourite lifts...even if I am now covered in bruises down my arms.
