Little Robot Challenge 2019 and GBWC 2019 .
MG 1/100 MS-09 Dom
Managed to get the Dom all snapped together . This kit is really showing its age and some of the proportions deffiantly need a look at . Will go through some concept designs this week and make a head start on some modifications .
Going to be using the MS-09 Dom as the base kit for next year's entry . If all goes to plan my next year entry is going to be a lot bigger than my previous years ZZ . Plus involve a huge amount more scratch building and scribing and really push and test my skills to a higher level .
Due to living in Perth , I will also need to take into account and engineer way to disassemble my entry for transport to Sydney for the GBWC.
If any one in Perth and interested in entering or checking the event details can be found here
Haven’t built much this week while I’m working on clearing out my gunpla stash but I was able to build a few components of the Liger Zero Jaeger including the base for head. Things are going pretty well so far but I have had to use some glue. I’m hoping to make some progress on the kit this week.
Today we have a large family dinner to celebrate my nephew’s first month! This is the first grandchild in our family so all the parents are very excited. In Chinese tradition, we celebrate the first month of a baby’s birth because it represents how the baby is in good health. Besides the family dinner, today was a day for gunpla and hanging out with friends. We had a building party and we worked on our gundams for 5 hours. The last picture shows our individual progress....only Matt finished without breaking it within the time we hung out. #family#familygoals#chinesetradition#gunpla#gundams#hangouts
