Last night my husband grilled Steaks 🥩 and I made Loaded Cauliflower Mash and Sautéed Garlic Mushrooms 🍄 for a steak topper!! Why go out when we can make restaurant quality food at home?!?! 🙌🏻 While the grill heats up, my husband seasoned the steaks with Lawry’s and let them sit out on the counter until they’re room temperature. This is when I start making the cauliflower mash. I use frozen cauliflower rice (2 bags) and microwave it. Put it in a bowl and toss in butter, Boursin cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, a few tablespoons of cream cheese and crumbled bacon. 🥓 Mix it and microwave it again until it’s all melty. Now add salt, pepper and garlic to taste. When I serve the mash, I top it like a baked potato... with all the things! 😍 For the sautéed mushrooms, I melt Kerrygold butter with olive oil in a pan. Add the fresh, sliced mushrooms with a pinch of salt and sauté until cooked. Adding the salt while they are cooking will pull the water out of the mushrooms... and flavor them. When they are almost cooked I add in a tablespoon or two of chopped garlic. I always have a jar of Spice World’s minced garlic in my frig... makes life easier! 😁 Let it all cook down a little more and top your steak with this garlic buttery goodness! 🤤 Delish!
