Karena hidup selalu punya cara sendiri untuk membuatmu belajar, bahwa sendiri tak pernah benar-benar sepi, dan bersama tak selalu bahagia. 🙌🏻
We are all just ants crawling around on a very explosive peach. Where will you be when the fuzz hits the fan?!?!?
For a long time, I had given up being active for just hanging around indoors trying to cope with life and illness, fatigue, survival, etc. But I'm naturally an outdoor person. I love to walk, hike, bike. So starting in January, despite the cold weather, I have started a new routine of daily walking. Today I walked six and a half kilometers (4 miles) exploring the city. It felt good, it felt cold, it felt invigorating and it felt fun! I could NOT have done this a year ago!.
I take phone pics along the way to keep myself entertained. Can't wait for bike season!

Sunday January 13th 2019, day 15 on the trail | John Tait Hut - Blue Lake Hut 1980km
I LOVE NELSON LAKES today was magical. Within an hour or two I was at Upper Travers Hut and starting up Travers Saddle 1787m a steady rock scramble climb. As I was hanging inverted on a rock, I found an avocado. 🙌🏼 The descent was a steep long knee breaker which seems to be a theme. A short peanut butter slug break at West Sabine Hut and then the final stretch to Blue Lake Hut for the evening

Faced one of my biggest fears this past weekend and held a a bird! Too bad I’m not a Bluejays fan 🤭
From the Japanese Alps to the Pacific Ranges of the Canadian Coast Mountains. Happy to share this day with this ‘lil mademoiselle. #hismom
Because everyone is back from winter break except @dannabanana6
💔 miss you, even though you’re probably having a blast in Jerusalem.
“Sometimes it's got to get worse before it gets better.
Sometimes it is not until the muck and mire are so deep, so thick, that we realize there has got to be a change.
As long as we have little problems, we are willing and able to maneuver our way around.
When the challenges are small, we can find a quick fix without realizing there is a deeper problem, a bigger issue which requires healing.” - Iyanla Vanzant
I could yarn on about how hard life has been, but that doesn’t really solve any of my problems. Nor does it illustrate how excited I am about moving to Arkansas. I am resurrecting this Instagram to follow my health journey and I hope you join along. This is my happy place, in nature. It’s where I belong and where I feel like myself.
It took me a second to figure out my why, besides being a hot ass bitch. I really want to be in shape so I can go on long hikes with my husband. That’s my favorite thing to do. Plus, get rid of some crappy health problems (PCOS, Prediabetes, arthritis, fatigue) or at least reduce their symptoms. I don’t even know if this involves weight loss, but I am thinking maybe it should. #hereigo
Same story here and in Hawaii, minus all the extra layers of clothing. All this boy needs to be happy is a broom 😂
Some days are just meant to be spent inside.
Alex and I are sipping on some decaf Americanos at our favorite coffee shop, and we’re putting the finishing details on our 2018 Year in Review blog post! I’m feeling extra thankful today that Alex joined my business back in the beginning of 2017. It’s been such an incredible adventure getting to photograph weddings together, roadtrip all across Texas, and travel whenever we can. No matter what we are doing, we are just happy we get to do it together. ❤️ Stay tuned for the blog coming up soon! (We’ll be recapping all of the highlights of the year including some memorable trips like this one to Croatia!)
