Sunday night chills. Both kids are in bed and Lees just put the kettle on. I’m going to relax and have a few, well actually all of the lemon bon bons I bought yesterday in a traditional sweet shop. They’re my fav. Ill be back on the big D tomorrow. Days when your feeling delicate you need a little pick me up and for me it’s bon bons 💕

My quick tips:
1. Stop talking about it! Lol! yes we are excited for them but constantly mentioning it or asking then if they are excited starts to make then anxious about it. 🤐🤐 2. Take more time for bedtime. Get them to bed on time, hopefully the week before but if not just be prepared to stay with them a little longer at night if they have nerves. 😴😴 There is a great post about drop offs @mpmomsblog.

I can't believe it's almost time for back to school. Summer feels like it came and went way too fast. I don't have a little one in school anymore, but I'm always reminded of this bittersweet time when I am shopping, seeing kids with moms and dads, checking off those must have items on their back to school shopping list. I remember the notebooks, paper, pencils, cases, and all sorts of things the school said he had to have, but they never mentioned anything about preparing HIM for the months ahead.

Who struggles to wake up refreshed and energised in the morning?? If so there could be a chance that the mattress you're sleeping on is chocka block full of negative energy. Think about all the nightmares, sweats, the farts, the emotions and energy from you and your partner, any past people who may have slept on the mattress. They are all stored there and you sleep amongst it every night. Your mattress DEFINITELY needs energy clearing, and I like to do this every time I clean the house and change my sheets which is once a week, but if you're not as fussy as me, make sure it's done at least once month.
Here's a little ritual you can practice, I find that I will sleep like a babe,wake up fresh and happy afterwards and I will know when it's time for another cleanse because I'll start sleeping in, and feeling groggy of a morning.
Sprinkle your mattress with sea salt or pink Himalayan salt. Salt is a powerful protector and will absorb negativity. Make sure it's pure and not chemically laden table salt. Ask the angels, gods or your guides to come and take away any energy stored within the mattress. Spritz your Florida water or if you don't have that, use rose or lavender Hydrosol (failing that, any essential oil mixed with alcohol will do) and as you spray, imagine white protective healing light spreading over the mattress. Open the window and walk around your mattress clapping and chanting "I bring in light, happiness, energy, motivation" clapping will break up any pesky energies that don't wanna budge. Sweep your hands over the mattress and PUSH the energies out the window. Take a black tourmaline chunk, hold him in your hands and ask him to help suck up any left over Energy. Place him in the middle of the mattress and leave him and the salt there for an hour while you clean the rest of the house. Vacuum up the salt, and bless the space with a quick smudge of Palo Santo, remembering to reset your tourmaline at the same time by running him through the smoke.
Empty your vacuumed up salt into the garbage and take it out. Don't leave it inside.
