I've pushed myself with my fitness routine and this landscaping project in a way I didn't think my body was capable of. I still get tired at the end of the day, still have sore muscles, and still have to take rest days to recover.
I'm so grateful for what I've accomplished though, and the biggest change I've seen is in my mindset🧠. I feel more motivated on a daily basis to stay active and get things done in a way that I haven't felt in a long time.

It’s done! My first half marathon is in the books.
I wasn’t even that cold but how cute were the emergency blankets complete with the lululemon symbol! So I had to snag one and wear it proud!
Not going to lie. It was hard. Km 17 onwards my ankles started killing me but I pushed thru and was able to finish under my three hour goal which was awesome (especially for not training at all and not being a runner). I honestly wasn’t sure if I could even finish this race as I had not trained at all but not only to finish but be able to run most of it was super amazing. I was a bit emotional near the end to think I have been wanting to run a half for over 9 years and I finally did it! 👊👊
I am so lucky to have such a supportive husband who drove me at 5am, kept me company in the pouring rain and cheered me on! 😘
I hope to do it again one year because this was the most fun I have ever had running! 🏃♀️🏃♂️
Also. Double bonus I needed a new running hat and we one for finishing! Today is simply the best! 👊

started down a path to gathering funds to take an intensive wilderness EMT certification class, which she completed this summer, followed by promptly passing her exams to become certified as an EMT! Today she is completing her first day on the job as an EMT & 👏🏻I’m 👏🏻so 👏🏻proud! 🎉🎉🎉
More often than not, we are the main source of our own unhappiness. We look around and see what others have and begin to feel like we should have the same, before we take the time to understand ourselves and our needs. The belief that more is better is a recipe for stress and frustration, yet it is programmed into us by society and our environment. Do you really need to do and obtain everything that you're serking or are you doing it, subconsciously, to impress your peers?

Same shirt Saturday! Every small decision you make toward improving your health does pay off. I’ve only been truly committed to healthy eating since August but it’s great to see the changes my body has gone through even without a large weight loss yet.

Ok, without further delay- I FINISHED LIIFT4!!! I honestly didn't know what to expect, but I love my results! 💪🔥 THESE MUSCLES ARE ON FII-YAA!
But seriously, this program was so fantastic that I'm starting it again! I over doubled the weight on certain moves over the course of only 8 weeks, 4 days a week!! 💕👍💕 I went from 5lbs in each hand to 15lbs in each for certain arm moves- and from 20lbs to 40lbs for legs!!! 🤯
I had no clue my pictures would rock me the way they did because I took them a little late, but I'm SO not disappointed!! 🤩✨

Right on cue the temps dropped today making it a bit too chilly for this girl. Matt’s band played a fall open house this afternoon and now I’m ready to go home and indulge in all things fall. Gimme all the apple + pumpkin flavored goodies, soups, decor, blankets and flannels! 💛

When I finished working out I was done!!! That was IT! BUT now I go into the stretching part with a different mentality! I remind myself how blessed I am, how thankful I am do be able to better myself each and everyday, how grateful I am for everything I have going on in my life! I tell myself nice things and I talk good to ME! I just truly go into it different &&& it works for me!
Point is don’t skip the stretching &&& love yourself FULLY!

I've been following a riding🚴 group on Facebook for quite some time and I FINALLY decided to take the plunge and join a ride with them on a trail that I've been wanting to try for awhile now (lil anxiety about new adventures). .
There were a lot of climbs and narrow, sharp turns... made me feel like I was out of shape or something, 🤣ha! .
When we get out of our heads, get over the fear of meeting new people and push through the fear of the unknown. We realize that all that trepidation wasn't worth it. .
Friends, everything you want is on the otherside of fear... believe you can and your half way there!

We all heard the word “chakra” at some point in our lives. Usually, it’s a prohibited subject for many people as for them it means something “spiritual” and spiritual in our world means you are a bit crazy. Many people are scared to know more about it. I want to show how working with each chakra will actually help you to improve your life, get rid of many fears, reevaluate our thinking and perception, etc. (as I experienced it myself and continued to do so). In my next few posts I will be discussing our chakras’ system: how it works, where are the chakras located, how do they affect our lives, etc. I will try my best to talk about it in “easy” language so that it won’t sound as “spiritual” (although, it is). For now, I will just answer one question:

WHAT IS CHAKRA:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Chakra can be described in many ways: energetic vortexes, inner energetic bodies, energy fields, energy channels, energy centers, etc. There are 7 main chakras in our inner bodies. They look like little wheels stacked over one another. These are our 7 “Wheels of life” (There is a book called like that also). Our vital energy. If we don’t have energy - we don’t have power, strength, desire, willingness, etc. Basically, we are not alive without energy. Chakras form our vital energy.
