✖️FOOD CHOICES✖️ • Eat Sh*t. Feel like Sh*t. • My new mantra before eating anything. No secret that I’ve made some indifferent food choices of late. And to be honest I don’t regret it, definitely needed the break after effectively dieting for 7 months. • But enough is enough. • A few signs that I have noticed that made me realise things need to be tidied up are: 👈🏽 Stomach is sore to touch, not muscular doms, just tender 💨 Bit windy after eating 💩 Irregular bowl movements (to much info?) • Experiencing any of the above? Look at what you’re eating, it may be the answer! • Feeling physically and mentally crap? Could all be down to food choices 🤷🏼‍♂️

Ezért van az, hogy egyes edzők térdfájdalom esetén, nem csak a fájdalom helyénél, hanem az azokhoz közeli ízületeknél (jelen esetben csípő) is tesztelnek, kutatnak a probléma valódi forrásának felderítésének céljából. Továbbá, mint látjuk, térdfájdalom fennállásakor nem minden esetben lesz jó a ,,kenegesd/pihentesd megoldás" . Ha a probléma hátterében a fent leírt eset áll, semmiképp sem lehet a pihentetés megoldás. Sajnos izolált aktiváció, erősítés, myofasciális lazítás, nyújtás nélkül ez a fajta fájdalom nem igen fog enyhülni. ✖️MUSCLE MASS & ANTS✖️ • When you think about it Muscle Mass is a lot like Ants. Wtf am I on about?! Well let me explain. • If a single ant tried to move a pebble, by itself it would probably struggle, however if it were to recruit more ants the task would be simple! More ants, more strength, more weight moved! • Now on to the bit about Muscle Mass. if you are struggling to move a particular weight with your current muscle mass (ants) then you need to build/recruit more muscle (ants). • So in theory if you are getting progressively stronger over time - progressive overload - then you will be building more muscle (recruiting more ants) • Now let’s relate this to fat loss, or preferably known as muscle retention. If you can retain your strength throughout your fat loss phase then theoretically you have retained the muscle mass you started with! Fair you might sacrifice a rep here and there but try and lift as heavy at the end of a dieting phase as you are at the beginning, that way you know you kept hold of your army of ants! • 💪🏽 🐜

GLUTES & HAMSTRING & ABDOMINAL STRENGTH This maybe looks easy, but it’s actually bloody hard work. Instead of collapsing into the lumber spine I am trying to keep my spine in a neutral position and just move with my leg. This means I have to use my abdominal muscles, gluteals muscles and hip flexors to move my leg. Again using the strength of my gluteus muscle and Hamstrings by bending the knee and just placing one finger on the heal. Usually we grab and pull our foot and we are almost hanging in the back bend. By pushing your foot into your heal and trying to keep your lower spine in neutral your butt and legs are kicking in. 💪🏽
