We were taking a long time to pull away from the gate on my flight yesterday so the gal next to me pulls a foot long baguette out of her purse and starts munching on one end. She turns the other end towards me, "want some?" Wherever you are now, baguette gal, I hope that you're doing well. | #TravelTuesday
Home is a funny word, certainly one that I still don’t understand. I don’t think I’ve found my ‘home’ yet, and I’m not really sure I want to for awhile. In regards to this I have discovered places that don’t feel like home, and when I’m there I tend to feel trapped and unhappy. Bellingham didn’t feel like home, so I left. I’m now back in the state that has never let me down in growth and happiness. Montana has a special place in my heart, I’m excited to spend the winter in a town where views like this are just out my front door. #morestrikes

Is anyone else loving the cold weather? I'm currently in love with waking up to a dark and moody vibe :D
Ice calving, also known as glacier calving or iceberg calving, is the breaking of ice chunks from the edge of a glacier. ❄️

No snowman is complete without a heart! ⛄️
Warm fall day in Montana.
montana in the fall . . . does not get any better.🍂
Looks like the weather is going to be gorgeous here at #haymoonresort
this week! Winter has decided to hold off a little longer. We should be able to get the siding, roofing, and decks finished! Looking beautiful with that rock work. I can’t wait to landscape in Spring!
Had a awesome trip last week! Such a great place to visit with snow. This Floridian was out of his element 😅⛰❄️⛄️
Wanna hear something funny? I love these boots. Like adore them. I’ve never found a pair of boots that fit me as well as the ones I’m wearing here. They don’t give me blisters when hiking, they’re waterproof, and they look good with any outfit!
And yet... as Dan and I arrived back to Minnesota after our two week road trip around Banff, Washington, and Glacier NP, I uncovered something heartbreaking...
We only came home with one of my beloved boots. ONE. UNO. EINS. 💔
I discovered that, somewhere in the middle of Montana, my boot had fallen out of the van.
In the middle of the night, as I got up to piss in the dark, the other half to my darling duo of boots had fallen out onto the ground and we totally drove away in the morning... leaving it behind for the ghosts.
What a sad sob story, eh? It makes me tear up a bit! Lol. But hey, that’s the beauty of traveling! You never know what could happen.

Glacier National Park going to the sun road was partially closed, but what we did see was awesome! ⛰⛰⛰⛰
Haven’t had a chance to share a timelapse in awhile. Often times I feel like they’re the best way to try and share a part of life I experienced that a single 1/125th of a moment can’t share
Autumn and winter colliding on the south aspect of Mt Cannon
This view was shrouded in clouds oh the way up to Grinnel Glacier in Glacier National Park, but was nice to see ok the way down after things cleared up. No fewer than three lakes are visible off in the distance (the hike goes past the first two) in this valley between the mountains.
This rainy cold weather the last couple days is reminding me of my recent time at @glaciernps
It was raining with crisp air the whole time we were in the mountains.
I am obsessing over this weather right now because it is making me feel that much closer to home. 🖤🌧🏔
Sunset from the hostel in Ninh Binh. I’ve never seen a sunset split up so perfectly in the sky like this.
The chilly air got me missing these early cold mornings in the mountains. // Glacier National Park - August 14th, 2018
The happiest & most alive I’ve felt in a long time was right here in this exact moment. Trying to cultivate these feelings in the every day mundane. #nationalpubliclandsday
Handsomest man & the prettiest views I ever did see. Living the literal dream with this man by my side.
Yet again the early wake-up call paid off. We had this place to ourselves for breakfast. // We were a little disappointed to find out Glacier was having three wildfires because it meant the views would be blocked by smoke. The valley on the Highline Trail indeed was filled, but even so the views were so wildly surreal that I can’t even begin to imagine what it would look like clear. I can’t describe to you the overwhelming awe I felt standing in this majesty. Pictures obviously don’t do it justice. Unreal. Ineffable. Glacier... we will be back.
