Let’s get some wine and sit together at night.
Let’s talk about life...
What’s your favourite spice? 🌶 Here in Iran I discovered some new ones and even learned how to cook a traditional eggplant dish - I can’t wait to share some new Iranian-inspired creations with you! 😍🇮🇷♥️
I bought so many things (mainly Iranian foods) that my suitcase is bursting. 🧳 Who can relate? 😅
DAY 12 In Iran 🇮🇷 Today is our last day already... We spent yesterday in the largest city in Iran - Tehran. Almost 9 million people live in the capital. Compared to all other cities we’ve visited so far you really get big city vibes here. 🌃 Skyscapers, crowded streets, colourful bazaars and even a few purely vegetarian restaurants. Tehran has a lot to offer - but no nightlife. Instead, many cafes and tea houses string together and replace the function of bars in this city. Never have I seen so many cafes in just one street, especially not that crowded. What an experience! ☕️ .
Western food is another trend. Iranians LOVE fast food. 🍔🍕🍝 Kebab, pizza, pasta and sandwiches are everywhere. Other than that, the city has not been influenced by Western culture too much. No McDonald’s anywhere. 🍟❌ No Starbucks and no H&M. You’ll find none of the typical Western stores in Iran. Instead, there are many fakes and copycats. Who knows, maybe some of them are originals. 🤔 Some products look so authentic, you can’t recognise. .
Even in Tehran, foreigners are rare. Despite the arrival of Western fast food, the big city is still anything but international. But that’s what makes it so interesting. 1.5 days were not enough to grasp the city. We will return! 🏔♥️ .
Btw all Iran stories are now saved in my highlights - Iran 1,2 and 3. Youtube videos, tips and informational (blog) posts will follow soon. In my stories, you can ask me about my favourites today - ask any question you like! I will answer honestly. 😊
How good is Kuala Lumpur 🙌🏽 This city is an amazing mix of modern shopping malls, heritage listed buildings, temples, mosques and stunning gardens. I love the variety #KL
offers and admire the many different cultures, all blending so beautifully together 🌎

🚴♂️ Day 291: Sabak Bernam to Bestari Jaya 🇲🇾 87km: With only 6 days riding left until Singapore, the last moments riding in Asia have been pretty stunning 😍😍
The love of my life is having a hard time at the moment and I would give anything to go back to this day; Starbucks and fried chicken for breakfast, flying through the desert in the back of a Ute, our matching jackets no match for the icy cold wind that made our ears ache on the way to the most magical piece of the planet we had ever laid eyes on. The coldest, most beautiful day of my life. Hours on the road, you with your paper map, me cracking hilarious jokes and making you clean my glasses every minute, forgetting that real life even existed. It was the trip of a lifetime and sometimes, it seems better to live in the place where moments stretch forever and the only thing to think about is the mind blowing experience we’ll have tomorrow. I love you a million mama, can’t wait for our next adventure 👭
Let’s go on an adventure today! Follow along on stories today for our trip out to Balili Mountain ⛰- a mountain on the edge of the Serengeti National Park. We’re going to near the summit for the night, so that we can watch the sunrise tomorrow morning over the Savannah. 🌅 I CAN’T WAIT! #adventure #tanzania #visitafrica
Summers gone but you can be my winter love 🌹🤷🏼♂️
I’ve never been to Asia so decided to go to Chiang Rai first as I was scared of Bangkok lel. What a treat to start with 🐉🇹🇭✨
A swirl of scents clashed around this door. Like much of India—I wasn't sure what to make of it. In the spice market I straddled an open sewer to take the photo. Tuk-tuks sent up dust, motorcycles belched exhaust, the sewer stunk. But the spice shops sent delicious whiffs of ginger, jasmine, cloves, and curry—spices stuffed in canvas sacks and wooden totes spilling onto the street. Confusion for the senses. That's India.

Have you been to Marrakech? I was lucky to stay at @lamamouniamarrakech
, one of the most luxurious hotels in Marrakech. But to be honest, I am biased about the city. I went there for my birthday during February and you could really feel that people were not open and warm towards tourists which was sad. They told us to come back in Spring or Summer where people would be in a better mood. I understand that winter can has its toll (even on me) but I was hoping to have another experience.
First day at the new job done 🤗 and now the saving for heading back to South Island to see these views again begins ✨
———————————————————————Such a great day, but in true ‘sods law’ style, I started feeling really unwell yesterday and spent my first day at work doing my best Ross Geller impression (I’m totally fineee 😅), but in reality I was in so much pain I could barely open my jaw (praise for ibuprofen 🙌🏼) 😅🙈 Here’s to hoping it’s just my sinuses playing up and not the road to being poorly behind a desk all week 🤞🏼Send me lots of positive thoughts please 😭🙏🏼
It’s Monday morning. Now, did that realisation excite you or fill you with dread? I made the decision to switch up my mindset & start believing that I can do whatever the hell I want to — which news flash, we all can. Now all those dreams I had on my vision board are turning into reality 💫 so Monday? LET’S SLAY.
Hiking through a postcard like landscape ✨
After a very windy night we woke up to the strong smells of fish, and happily discovered our chef buying large bags of super fresh prawns and calamari from a fishing trawler that had stopped near the Sea Gipsy 🐟🦐🦑 Following some very relaxing beach time after breakfast, we set off for our longest cruise yet, although we did stop for some swimming on a random uninhabited island 🏝
Our stop for the night was a secluded bay from which we watched an amazing sunset.. accompanied by some wine of course 😁
Just another awesome day with @island_safari_mergui
One of the most unique places I had the chance to visit 🤩. Cute little street with train zooming through it several times a day 🚂
what an incredible day 😭💗
Top Tip: Don’t wear a nude bikini under a white net dress 😅😂
Keep swiping right to see how awkward and filled with terror I am walking in to the sea 🙈 (and also the sweet views of Goat Island!). I have such a fear of the Ocean but I still love going to the beach! Anyone else out there not a fan of the water? Or have you conquered your fear? I hope I do one day! 🤞🏼 | #NZNorthIsland
New Zealand North Island Adventures ✨
This weekend we ventured up to Goat Island marine reserve, which is approx. an hour and a half drive from #AucklandCity
(you can see more snaps from this beautiful place over on my story!). Goat Island was New Zealand’s first and now most accessible marine reserve and is known for being one of the best spots in the country for snorkelling and diving - you can even hire clear kayaks here! Once you make your way down to the black sand beach just across from the island (imaginatively named ‘Goat Island Beach’ 😅) you can then take to the waters and swim, kayak or paddle board out to to the island to explore the waters that surround it - it’s even Home to NZ’s famous little blue penguins 🐧😭
Have you ever been to Goat Island or have any recommendations on the best places to spot wildlife in New Zealand’s North Island?
everywhere is walking distance, if you have the time 😅
