FORM FIX - LYING HAMSTRING CURL
This is an exercise that needs to be included in your training if you want to fully develop your hamstrings because it requires movement or flexion at the knee joint.
The only problem is, this exercise is often done with poor form. I don’t think it’s so much a case of ego lifting, but more a case of you just don’t know. You don’t expect a machine exercise to be so nuanced do you?
The key with this exercise is engaging the abs, and to a degree the glutes, to ensure that your pelvis doesn’t tip forward or tilt anteriorly, which stops your back from arching.
Your upper thigh should be glued to the bench rather than coming off. If you do this, I’ll guarantee you’ll smoke your hamstrings.
There’s another trick you can use to make this exercise even more challenging and focused on your hamstrings, but that’s a post for another day.

smashed her first session ! There was a lot of talking involved, but not the kind you might think!! A lot of technical talk about posture and the goals she wishes to achieve . I truly believe in these talks being the most important ones. Because we all start somewhere different, with different goals and different perspectives on what we are capable of achieving. We all have different assets to use and different things to work around. And training properly is about taking all of those things into account. That’s how you get the results. You could workout for years and not get the results you want, because of all the above. Measure twice, cut once !

🤤🤤 first free meal since my cut started 6 weeks ago and it was amazing. Stomach low key hurts - from the fries probably. I usually don't touch fried foods since my stomach is on the sensitive side but this was bomb. I'll pop some Tums and be solid in a bit lol.

Arroz a la jardinera (Integral) 👨🏻🍳 .
- 1 bolsa de arroz integral
- Ajo molido (fresco)
- Ají amarillo molido (fresco)
- Zanahoria en cuadraditos
- Pimiento rojo
- Cebollita china (Decoración)
Primero cortar los ajíes amarillos, quitarle las pepas y venas, hervirlos por unos 20-30 min y licuarlos con muy poca agua hasta formar una pasta uniforme.
Poner el ají amarillo junto con el ajo en la olla arrocera y remover, una vez que estén calientes agregar la zanahoria, arvejitas, champiñones y pimiento rojo.
Agregar la bolsa de arroz integral y remover todo.
Agregar agua caliente y sal al gusto (acuérdense que el arroz integral necesita un poco más de agua que el arroz normal).
Cuando ya esté casi listo agregar el holantao y listo.

👎The scale can be a rather ineffective measure of your fitness progress as well. Circumference measurements, how your clothes fit, and how you FEEL are far more accurate indicators of progress than the scale.
⚖️Weight can fluctuate daily and if you're anything like I was, that can mean your mood fluctuates based on the number starring back at you... and that just sucks! Why give a stupid piece of plastic so much power over how you feel about yourself. 🤷🏼♀️
👍I challenge you to hide the scale for a week and see how you feel. This is something I often ask my clients to do and it's amazing how much freedom and positivity return to them!

Love this healthy version of pulled pork bbq sammies! 🤤😋 Recipe below ⬇️
- 2 lean pork chops
- 1/2c vegetable stock
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- salt & pepper to taste
- dash of cinnamon
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- 7oz 0% fat Greek yogurt
- 1tbsp parsley
- 1/2tsp Dijon mustard
- 3.5oz green cabbage
- 1 carrot
- 3oz snow peas
- 2 scallions
- 2 whole wheat buns
Set oven to 300 degrees. Sear pork chops about 3-4 min each side. Mix dry seasonings and maple syrup and rub into chicken. Pour chicken stock over chicken and cover with lid. Place chicken in oven and cook for 25-30minutes. Thinly slice cabbage, carrots, snow peas, and scallions. Mix together Greek yogurt, Dijon, and parsley and toss vegetables in and mix altogether. When chicken is done shred then toss onto bun along with Cole slaw mixture.
